Afraid to fail in everyone's eyes, I shone in the night. I came out when they're asleep, to shine on my own without judgmental eyes. Right then, I was the only one shining, and I felt as if I could do anything. So this is what the moon feels. To shine when no one's watching. To be yourself above all else. The feeling of you don't have to think of anyone else's thoughts because you were busy making up your own. I like it. I could do this all night.
