Begin again

The momment i knew

       I walked in and they were playing "how to get the girl" by Taylor swift and I couldn't help but hum. I walked a little more into the crowd looking for Bailee or brookelynn. I looked down at my feet nervously. I looked back up to see Rick standing there in ahh. His light blue eyes were staring into mine. I smiled and giggled. I walked closer to him. "Howdy" I said and smiled again.
        He reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. He unfolded it and it said I really love you. I froze and remembered I had one too. I pulled mine out and held it in front of me. I smiled and felt butterflies. I could tell he did too. I noticed Bailee in tears next to Emery and Brooke and Liam watching as well. "Wow lukasiak" he said and I hugged him. He kissed my cheek. "I new you'd came around" he said and hugged me tighter.
        I felt Bailee jump in from my behind and Emery on her, Liam came in and hugged Ricky and Brooke hugged Bailee and I. A group hug. I giggled and realized something.
      One of my favorite quotes growing up was, "one day you'll hug someone so tight that all your broken pieces will fall back into their places and whoever that person is, never let them go" and I realized that quote, didn't have to be about one person. I've hugged Bailee, Brooke, Ricky, Emery and Liam and each time, they didn't fall back into place until now. When everyone of those people were hugging me. I wasn't lost anymore. I found were I belong, with who I belong. I smiled brighter than I ever have before.
       As the night went on, we danced and laughed and goofed off. I think coming down here was the best decision of my life. It was finally time to crown the king and queen of the night and something I least expected happened.
