20- Forever and always

James
I wake up with Riley in my arms, a puzzled look on her face.

James: Riley, what's up?

Riley: I just...I don't understand

James: Don't understand what?

Riley: I remember you, but not the girl who is supposed to be my sister

James: Riles, you were in a coma, don't worry about it, it my come back to you.

Riley: I suppose

I look at Riley, the sadness fills her eyes. 'Right, let's go to dance' I give so a side hug and get back into the car.

We get back to the studio

Emily: Hey James, hey Riley

James: hey Emily

Riley: hi (whispers)

Emily:Where were you to yesterday. We were all rehearsing and you two weren't even here

James: I took Riley out, she didn't need the pressure of coming back here

Emily: But she's my sister

Riley: That I can't even remember!

Riley walks off, not looking back. I turn to Emily, tears brimming her eyes.

James: Emily?

Emily: Yeah?

James: You know she don't mean to hurt you, right?

Emily: I know, but it does hurt.

James: Emily, I know its gonna hurt, but she can't help it. It ain't like she planned to go in a coma

Emily: Its like karma. I hurt her and now she don't remember me, and now she's ran off somewhere

James: Emily, don't even worry about, I'm gonna go find her alright, just stay here, and Riley will be fine

I leave the studio. I know where Riley is, the place she loves to be. I park in the car park and my way down the beach, Its sunset, and really quiet, no-one is on this part of the beach, apart from Riley.

James: Riles?

Riley: James, I'm a bad person

James: Why?

Riley: James, I don't remember the girl who I grew up with, my sister

James: Riley, I'm not gonna lie to you, Emily, your sister, she's hurt by this.

Riley: (voice cracks) I'm a let down. What am I meant to do James?

James: Riles, first of all, you're not a let down, your far from it. Riley, your amazing perfect, beautiful inside and out. Secondly, I've got a plan. This is what we're gonna do.

Ten minutes go past and I see Emily walk down.

Riley: Emily, I'm sorry

Emily hugs Riley for about five minutes

Emily: Ri, your always gonna be my little sister

Emily leaves, leaving just me and Riley

Riley: James, you are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you James

James: Riley, things are gonna change. Things have happened since what happened in the past. But its time to move on, forget about the past, focus on the present and the future. You and Emily can start anew, build a bigger better sibling relationship. And as for future, well I have my future with me right now. Your all I have ever wanted and now I have you, I'm never letting you go. Your the girl of my dreams

Riley: And your the boy of my dreams.
