Park Pest

So Pontius and I were back at the park. This time, the guys, AJ and Glen decided to tag along. There were no sizable picnic tables, so the grass it is. It’s also closer to the playground. The guys were giving their girls a day off. What fine gentlemen. Nate dragged Cubbie to the playground, so we kind of lost them from there. AJ and Glen were making faces at the twins with Pontius as the judge. I don’t really get them sometimes. Mark was half asleep lying on the grass with Austin’s head on his arm. I swear, Austin’s a heavy sleeper and I blame Mark for that. Sean was making weird faces at Daisy while rocking her in her booster. So, there were Isom, Ryan, and I left. We felt left out, so we decided to join the baby club. “So this specific chunk of meat scares the life out of Sean?” AJ laughed,

Pontius nodded, “Can I say the word?”

            “No.” Sean frowned,

            “Torpedoes!” I cried,

As expected, he winced. “For how long will this haunt me?”

Mark shrugged, “As long as you live.”

“Maybe I’ll carve that up in your grave when you die.” Isom added, “I’ll carve ‘torpedo lover’ right under your name.”

Sean winced again, “Do you not understand? That specific part of the meat must not be put up for sale!”

“Hey, people are crazy. You’d like them if I gave it to you without telling you what it is.”

He winced again and then gasped, “You’ve tried it already?”

“God, no. I’d like to, though.” I smirked,

“Why be freaked out about a little chunk of meat?” Ryan teased,

“You don’t understand, Harrison! You’re a doctor. You cut open people for a living, you can’t feel disgusted.”

“What exactly is a torpedo?” Innocent Glen asked, “Because I’m not following you guys, at all.”

We all burst out laughing, even Sean after wincing. It’s funny because Glen is so innocent and I have no idea on how will he react when I tell him. “Do you really wanna know?” I asked,

“Yes, because I don’t get the joke here.”

“Trust me, son. You don’t want to know.” AJ giggled,

“I’m afraid your dad’s right.” Sean agreed and winced,

            “Aw, come on!”

“You’re just a kid, Glen.” Mark said,

“You need to be older to find out.” Pontius added,

I snorted, “I knew it before all of you did, and I was only fourteen.”

            “But I’m seventeen!” He whined,

I gave him a serious look, “Are you sure you’re up to this?”

“Well, obviously yes.” He said in a duh tone,

I beckoned at him so I could whisper it, “It’s the one of the crucial parts in a goat’s anatomy.”

            “Which is?”
