Explain

Nathan woke up the following morning and his chest was in pain from his new tattoo. He didn't expect it to be so painful he just thought it would be a little sore. He then rolled out of bed and made a smoothie and than sat on the couch and flipped through the channels. Haley walked out of the bedroom a couple minutes later and then came up behind Nathan and wrapped her arms around is Neck and then rubbed them all over his chest.

"Ow!" Nathan yelled

"Nathan what did I do?" Haley asked walking around the couch so she could see him

"Nothing." He said flipping the channels

"Nathan I know you better than anyone in the world so when you say nothing I know  there is something!" She said sitting in the foot rest in front of him

"You can't get mad." Nathan said setting down the remote

"Okay?" She questioned

He took off his shirt and exposed the bandage on the left side of his chest

"What happened are you hurt." She said coming closer and putting her hand on his shoulder

"Not exactly." He said peeling off the bandage to reveal his tattoo

"Nathan Scott is that a tattoo?" She asked looking closer

"Yes."

"Are those my initials?"

"Yes."

"Why?" She asked

"Lucas." He let out

"Lucas made you get a tattoo?" She asked in disbelief

"No it's just something he said made me want to."

"What exactly did he say?"

"That whenever we are apart we still long to be together and when we are together no one can bear to be with us because we are so inseparable." Nathan revealed

"How did that make you get a tattoo?"

"I got it because now when ever I'm away you'll always be close to my heart." He said grabbing her hand

"Okay that's actually kind of sweet." She said kissing his cheek and then going off to answer the phone that was ringing

"Hello?" She said picking up

"Haley it's Lucas." He said from the other side of the line

"Hey what's up." She asked now sitting on the counter

"I finally did something about Peyton." He said

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah I told them both that I needed to be alone for a while and that eventually If the time was right things would fall into place and whoever I was meant to be with would find their way back to me." Lucas explained

The line was silent

"Haley?" He asked

"Yeah sorry Nathan hurt his finger I got to call you back." She said lying

She quickly hung up and then dialed another number

"Haley?" Brooke asked

"Brooke how are you?" Haley asked

"Not so good."

"Really why?" She asked already knowing the answer

"Lucas pretty much broke up with me, but don't worry Haley I'm going to get him back." Brooke said proudly

"I'm sure you will." Haley said hanging up and then dialing another number

"Peyton." Haley said as soon as she picked up

"Haley?" Peyton asked

"I heard about what happened are you all right?" She asked

"Of course I am and Haley you don't have to ever worry about me because I'm going to win him over." Peyton said happily

"That's good I'm so happy for you Peyton ." Haley said as she hung up the phone again and then got up gem the counter

"Your the devil." Nathan joked

"I know." She said kissing him from behind

Later that week...

"Nathan are you sure you have everything?" Haley asked as they were about to leave

"Yes." He said grabbing his basketball bag and then grabbing the keys

"Okay." She said unsure that he did

Once they got to the gym Nathan stopped her right before they were about to enter through the doors and then pulled her off to the side to their secret spot In between the two brick walls

"Nathan what are you doing?" Haley asked as she giggled

"Kissing my wife." He said intently grabbing her face and then making out for a while

"Nathan your going to be late for warm ups." Haley said finally stopping there intense moment

"Okay." He said kiddish her lips once more and then putting his hand on her very pregnant belly

"I love you guys." He said looking into her dopy brown eyes

"We love you too, now go and kick some butt." She said smacking his but as he left her alone

She walked back into the gym and then said down next to mouth he hugged her as she did

"You ready for this." He said as she finally took her spot

"As ready as I'll ever be." She let out

Thirty minutes later...

Nathan walked to center court and the ref hand the ball in his hands and was about to throw it for jump ball.

"Ladies and gentlemen who is ready for some basketball!" Mouth yelled over the speaker and then everyone in the crowd cheered as Haley's face lit up with a smile
