Taylor and Karlie saw each other the next day, and the day after that. In fact, the two have been inseparable for the last two and a half months. Even with Taylor's release of her fourth album Red, she still made time for Karlie. Karlie had met Taylor's parents and brother and Taylor had met Karlie's sisters. They were the topic of almost every news article because their friendship was as most put it, #goals.

Taylor and Karlie seemed like the best of friends to the public eye, and they were. However behind closed doors, they had become more than that. In fact, they had a date planned for tonight; they were going to a Knicks game together. It would be perfect because to the media and public it would be seen as just another girls night, but to Taylor and Karlie it was so much more.

Taylor had just arrived at Karlie's apartment, she had so many butterflies. Even though they had spent every day together, this was their first official date. Karlie opened the door to the SUV, the driver knew ahead of time where they were going, so they were off to the game.

"Kar, I'm so nervous. I know it's like any other time that we've gone out together but I have so many butterflies"

"I know, I'm pretty nervous too. It will be fine, we're just going to have a beer and enjoy the game"

Taylor sighed and rested her head on Karlie's shoulder. Karlie intertwined her fingers with hers and they rode in silence the rest of the way.

Karlie had been right, there was nothing to be nervous about. They walked into Madison Square Garden holding hands and smiling, there were paps everywhere; nothing that they weren't used to. They went to the concession stand to get their beers and made their way to their (courtside!) seats. To be honest, Taylor didn't really care for basketball but she knew that Karlie did, so when MSG called her and asked her if she wanted courtside tickets, she jumped at the opportunity. She couldn't help but admire Karlie and how her forehead creased when they missed a shot, or how she cursed when the opposing team stole the ball. It was one of the cutest things she had ever witnessed. This was only the first date, but Taylor already knew she was falling hard for Karlie and she couldn't help but hope that she felt the same. Taylor realised she had been staring at Karlie for longer than what may seem normal and began to panic. Just as she started to panic, Karlie rubbed her arm and told her to relax. It's as if she knew exactly what Taylor needed at every moment.

The game ended, Karlie was cheering because the Knicks had won. Taylor was smiling because Karlie was the biggest dork ever. Karlie grabbed her hand and they both made their way back to Taylor's car.

"Taylor, that was the best game I've ever watched! I'm so grateful that you scored those awesome seats!"

"It was pretty amazing, but I have to admit, I didn't get to see most of the game. I was too busy watching how adorable you are."

Taylor was glad it was dark because she didn't want Karlie to see how red her cheeks had turned, though she was pretty sure Karlie was blushing now too.

"We had courtside tickets to a Knicks game and you spent your time looking at me. You are such a weirdo!"

"A weirdo that you love!"

Shit. Taylor just said Karlie loved her.

"I mean like, love as in best friends because that's what we are best friends, I hope you kno-"

Karlie cut Taylor off with the most passionate kiss.

"I know what you meant, silly. You're so cute when you're flustered."

Taylor needed more. She leaned in a kissed Karlie again. This time moving her hands to Karlie's face, deepening the kiss. They finally stopped when they heard the driver clear his throat.

"Miss Swift, we have arrived"

"Thanks, Max"

"Well Tay, that was the best first date I've ever been on. I'll talk to you later"

She pecked Taylor on the lips once more before getting out of the car.

Taylor touched her swollen lips, that had been their first kiss. It felt like there were fireworks going off in her tummy. Her phone buzzed.

'Are you smiling as big as I am right now? Tonight was amazing. You make my heart so happy Tay.'

'My face is hurting because I am smiling so much. You make my heart happy too.'

The next couple of weeks were spent preparing for Taylor's tour. Karlie and Taylor still managed to talk every day but they hadn't been able to spend as much time with each other as they would have liked. Karlie had come over for dinner, the tour was starting in a week and a half; they knew their time spent together now was limited as Taylor was about to travel the world and Karlie had a dozen modelling jobs coming up.

"I have an idea, my tour starts in a week and a half, you're going to be busy, how about we go on a roadtrip? We can take the full week off and just spend all our time together, what do you say?"

Karlie nodded and kissed Taylor.

"That sounds like a perfect idea."
