(May 30th)

Third Person POV

Jess entered her home where she saw her parents talking. When she entered they got quiet and had worried faces. They then decided to talk to her.

Jess' POV

"Hi mom, hi dad," I said as I walked over to them. "Honey, we need to talk about something," my dad said as he motioned me to sit down. I sat down then asked, "Is something wrong?" They looked at each other then back at me and my mom said, "Well we have some news." "What is it?" "Well you can go see your friends again from Crimson Valley!" I screamed with joy then asked, "Great! How long are we staying?!" They looked at one another with saddened expressions on their faces then my dad said, "Well the honey the thing is that.....we're moving back to Crimson Valley." I sat there with a shocked expression on my face. "W-When do we l-leave?" I said as my voice started breaking. "June 5th," my dad said. "O-Ok," I said as I stood up from the table then went upstairs to my room.

When I got in my room I locked the door and started to cry. I just slid down the door and cried for about two hours. A few minutes later I called Aaron to see if he was home because I wanted to go spend as much time with him before I left.

On the phone: A=Aaron J=Jess

A:*picks up on the 4th ring* Hello?

J: A-Aaron are y-you at home? *sniffle*

A: Jess are you okay? You sound like you've been crying.

J: I have, but are you at home?

A: Um yeah Jason and I are here. Why?

J: C-Can I come over?

A: Of course you can Jess.

J: Okay I'll be there in 30 m-minutes. *sniffle*

*End Call*

I got up from my bed then put on my black hoodie and went downstairs to grab my keys and leave. "Are you going to Aaron's house honey?" my mom asked as she went to go sit on the couch. "Yeah. I'll back home in about two hours," I said as I went outside to get in my car and leave. Just as I got into my car and started it, it began to rain. I sighed to myself then left for Aaron's house.

(30 minutes later)

I arrived at Aaron's house and rang the doorbell when I got to the front door. Nothing happened so I rang it again and still no one answered the door. Finally, I just decided to knock on the door and immediately Aaron opened it. He looked down at me then asked, "Jess you're soaking wet! And your probably super cold. Go sit down on the couch and I'll get you something to drink," he said as he pulled me into his house. I went into the living room to sit and wait for Aaron to come back. Minutes later he came back with a blanket and a cup with steam coming out of it. "Aaron what's that?" "It's hot chocolate and here's a blanket," he said as he gave me both items. "Thanks Aaron," I said in a sad tone.

He looked down at me with concern then asked, "Jess is something wrong? You were sniffling on the phone and you look like you've been crying for hours," he said as he sat on the couch and pulled me into a hug. I didn't say anything because I was afraid Aaron would be mad at me. He then pulled away from the hug then said, "Jess, please tell me if something is wrong. I don't like it when your sad and neither does Kano." As he said that Kano walked over and whimpered. I made a small smile at Kano then looked back up at Aaron. I sighed then started tearing up because I know I had to tell him now. "Aaron I'm..........moving back to Crimson Valley," I said as I fell into shoulder crying.

Aaron's POV

Jess is.....leaving? No, she can't leave. I looked down at her then asked, "W-When are you leaving?" "June 5th." "Oh o-okay." Jess was still crying so then I started patting her back, stroking her hair and just trying to stop her from crying. "Shh shh Jess it's okay." She looked up at me then asked, "*sniffle* Y-You're not m-mad at me?" "Of course not Jess! Why would I be mad at you?" "Well last time when I was moving I told Garroth and he was mad at me." "Jess I don't have a reason to be mad at you. Your parents made the decision that you have to leave and......I'm okay with that." "Y-you are?" "Yes," I said with a smile trying to cheer her up. "Aaron I don't wanna leave you." "I don't want you to leave me either Jess," I said with a pause. I then finished with saying, "But everything will be okay because we have our rings to remember each other." "I love you Aaron." "I love you too Jess." After a bit of sitting and talking I grabbed my guitar and started singing

Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go

Staring at the bottom of your glass
Hoping one day you'll make a dream last
But dreams come slow and they go so fast

You see her when you close your eyes
Maybe one day you'll understand why
Everything you touch surely dies

But you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go

Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same old empty feeling in your heart
Cause love comes slow and it goes so fast

Well you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep
Cause you loved her too much and you dived too deep

Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go
And you let her go
Well you let her go

Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go

Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go

Jess went home then I took a shower and fell asleep.
