Chapter 31: Jess' Birthday Pt 2- Party Time!!!

(The Next Day)

Kenjii's POV

"Hey Kenjii!" Korey says ecstatically. "Sup Korey. Where's Katelyn?" I asked him as I gave him a small hug. "She went to go and get the balloons. Come on we still have a ton to do," he said motioning me to come inside. "Kenjii, you don't mind setting up the stuff outside do you?" Korey asks me. "Nah bro, I got it," I say with a wave. I walk outside to get a call from AJ.

(In Call)
K: Kenjii A: Aaron

K: This is McVacktor speakin' how may I help you?

A: Ken, where are you right now?

K: I just got here at Katelyn and Korey's house.

A: Okay good. Are the decorations finished yet?

K: Well.....

A: Well?

K: Well they're about a quarter of the way there.

A: KENJII!!

K: AJ calm down. Look didn't YOU trust ME to do this party?

A: Yeah.

K: So I'm gonna do what I gotta do. Don't worry AJ, by the time you get here you're gonna be thanking the shit outta me!

A: *Sigh* Whatever Ken, just please finish on time.

K: I will. See ya!

A: See ya.

(End Call)

"Time to fix this!" I say aloud and I start preparing everything for tonight.

(Later That Day)

Aaron's POV

I'm all dressed for the party and I look calm on the outside, but I'm so nervous on the inside. This party has to go well. I take a moment to compose myself then leave out the house and head to Korey's house. I get there to see the door open, so I walk in and greet whoever I see first. "Hey Aaron," Katelyn says to me. I say hello back and quickly go find Kenjii. "Aaron over here!" I hear a voice yell out. I look over to see the huge banner in purple with flowers saying 'Happy Birthday Jess'. "Wow Ken, nice job!" I say to her. "Eh, I love to help out my friends, and their love interests," Kenjii said nudging me. I roll my eyes with a chuckle then go back inside and everyone waits for Jess. "Everyone hide!" I hear Katelyn yell out. We all hide and wait for Jess to open the door. She opens it and we all shout out 'Surprise!'. "Hsppy Birthday babe," I say to her as we hug. "Awwww," I hear everyone in the background say. "Well what're ya standin' around for? Let's get this party started!" Kenjii yelled out and the party had began

(A few hours later)

"Aaron we have to talk," Korey says nudging me. I scrunch my brows in confusion, but then nod to him saying he can continue. "Aaron we have a problem," Korey says pulling me to the side. "What's wrong?" I said in a panicky tone. "The DJ can't get here because he got a flat and he won't be here for another hour and a half!" he exclaims. Oh no, this is bad. We NEED the DJ, but he's stuck and we can't do anything about it! I pace back and forth thinking about what I can do to stall out time when I get an idea. "I know what we gotta do," i say snapping my fingers. "What?" Korey asks. "Listen just set up the speakers and the microphones and I'll explain when I get back," I reply. He nods and then we go our separate ways. After running around for 15 minutes I finally manage to find Kenjii sitting at the bar. "Kenjii! Look we have a huge problem!" I say as I break the loud noise. "Ah what's up now? I was just about to down a few shots of Mountain Dew with Austin here!" Kenjii exclaims. "The DJ got stuck and can't make it! We have to perform until Katelyn and Korey can figure out something to replace it with," I say as I grab her arm. "Fine! Jeez after this weekend you owe me hella big time!" she replied to me as we quickly ran to set everything up. "This better go well," I murmur to myself and we start playing.

Hey doods! It's Koda and I finally got an update out! So let me explain why I haven't been updating. Long story short I got in trouble with my parents so now I can only get my electronics back on the weekends, and I haven't been able to update cause I've either been busy doing homework or spending time with my family. SO I FINALLY GOT TIME TO UPDATE BECAUSE NEXT WEEK I HAVE A HALF DAY OF SCHOOL AND THE REST OF THE WEEK IS PT CONFERENCES! Whoo hoo, and also the new episode of MC Diaries Season 3 came out yesterday and if you haven't watched it I suggest you do cause your gonna want more!
