| Prologue |
Mum always told me not to talk to strangers,
But when someone seems so friendly,
So-- so genuine...
You're pulled in by the possibility that it might be real.
Like maybe the stories they talk about aren't real, but that person is.
I guess it's easy to forget that it's easy to lie on the internet.
I mean, why be yourself when you can be someone better, funnier, brighter.
You can pretend when you're online,
Even after all that's happened...
I still hope that it all works out.
Because I have never fallen so hard, so fast.
And it's come to the point where-- where the pain when you're near is less than the pain when you're gone.
