************Sam ***********

Don stood by me the whole time.

But I couldn't find any tears.

I had cried to much already.

I wore a black dress, black gloves and a black veil to cover my face.

It was tradition.

Don fidgeted next to me.

I looked up confused.

He was looking across at a girl dressed in black.

She was one of the kidnapped wolves from the pack.

My eyes met her blue ones and I was surprised at the hate in them.

She was beautiful though.

She had long blonde hair up in a messy bun, and yet she managed to look sophisticated.

She wore a simple black dress.

Next to her stood my brother Tyler and my mother's Mate Bryan and his second chance Mate Heather and their young son. Along with his Beta, James and his Mate along with Dons Mate.

I could see the resemblance between James and the blonde.

They both had blonde hair and blue eyes.

I looked back at her then to Don.

'You dumbass when did you find your Mate?' I mind linked him.

He shifted and patted my arm, which was resting on his.

'During the battle.' He said sadly.

I grimaced.

What a horrible time to find your Mate.

It would always be a bad memory.

I knew it was for him.

'Go to her. She's practically killing me with her eyes.'

His mouth twitched in amusement.

'I don't care. Right now I need to be with you, and that's what ill do.'

I didn't push any further.

He was right.

As much as I hated to admit it, he was right.

I needed Don right now.

I needed someone who felt as much pain as I do.

So what my ending had ended badly.

I was happy for Don.

He would live happily with his mate and maybe have little Dons running around.

Tears appeared in my eyes.

I would never have children.

I would never know if they would look like me or like Chris.

Chris.

Just saying his name broke my heart again.

I was brought to the future.

We were at his funeral.

It was tradition to bury him in the Wayne burial ground, a wide clearing a mile or so from the pack house.

The entire pack was gathered here as well as my mothers Mates pack.

Chelsea's body was left on her mothers doorstep , we haven't seen her mother since.

Jack's body, was set on fire and left to burn.

My idea, I must admit.

He deserved to live in eternal hell.
