Hey guys! I just wanted to apologize for not updating this book in awhile. I actually did an interview with one of my favorite authors, but I have just been so busy that I haven't been able to type it up. No worries though, for I now have the interview ready for you guys! I hope you enjoy it! ~ Ella1908

***************

Me: So Gina! When did you start having a passion for writing?

Gina: I first realized I had a passion for writing at eight years old. I can never recall why it exactly started, but I was always creative and imaginative, and my dad encouraged me to let it out in writing. It really wasn't until sixth grade until I started writing a real book per se, and after that it spiraled into writing real works right here on Watpad.

***************

Me: When did you find out about wattpad?

Gina: I found out about Wattpad in early November, 2012. No one told me about it; I literally googled Liam Payne one day, and it turned into finding a fan fic and then making an account here.

**************

Me: Can you explain Why you chose wattpad to write your book's when you could have chose another app?

Gina: The only other app I found I could write on when I first started was Quotev, but it's like I could almost see the future in knowing that Wattpad would eventually skyrocket. Plus I liked Wattpad more at the time, and I found a lot of books here I liked so I decided to take a try at writing my own.

***************

Me: What are your feelings about your success so far as a wattpad author? Are you overwhelmed? Happy? Stressed out? Excited?

Gina: It's really a mix or surprise and happiness. It's like you don't expect at the beginning anyone to really notice you, you just hoped you could be hitting 1 million reads one day. And then it happens, and all you can be is grateful and well, happy.

***************

Me: If you had to say one thing to your followers, what would you say to them?

Gina: I would give them a big fat thank you for supporting me and spreading the love. You guys are the best.

***************

Me: People say { Including me } That internet friends are better then real life people. What is your opinion on that? Do you agree or disagree? And why?

Gina: I agree and disagree. I think with Internet friends there's less pressure of actual friendship and almost no drama, but real life friends are great in the sense they are physically present in your life. But I can say I've talked to so many cool people and formed almost long distance friendships so yeah, Internet friends are awesome.

***************

Me: What are your hobbies other than writing?

Gina: I play the piano and love to exercise, if that counts as a hobby.

***************

Me: If you had to recommend one of your books, which one would you choose? If you had to recommend a book you have read, what book would you choose?

Gina: If I had to recommend one of my books, I'd recommend my newer novel Lifeguard because I feel it's one of my deeper books I've written plus people have seemed to really like the main character Hanna's personality. As for a book I've read, Shane by Jack Schaefer was really good, especially since it was a required book to read for English.

***************

Me: Who is your favorite wattpad author/book and what is your favorite author/book

Gina: I can never answer this question because I really don't have one! I love a wide range of books and authors on Wattpad and outside of Wattpad.

***************

Me: What is your opinion on the Watty Awards?

Gina: I think Watty Awards is amazing. I feel honored to have one two Wattys in a row, and I love how Wattpad has expanded them so much. I think they will only get even better in the upcoming years.

***************

Me: What is your favorite Breakfast Dish, Lunch Dish, Dinner Dish, Snack, and Dessert?

Gina: Breakfast would be my mom's French toast, lunch would be a really good, big sandwich with like avocado and turkey, dinner would honestly be a good Arabic dish, snack would be popcorn and dessert chocolate fudge cake of course.

***************

Me: What does a person have to do to get you to follow them?

Gina: They honestly either have to write a book I really liked, but mostly the people I follow are people I talk to pretty often.

***************

Me: Why did you start a rant book?

Gina: I started a rant book because I'm very opinionated, and I got tired of venting to my family members so I decided to write my thoughts instead.

***************

Me: What does the future of your writing career hold?

Gina: I want to publish lots of books and then travel to meet my readers and give inspirational talks. Really, just do a more expanded and professional version of what I'm doing now.
