Saving Him (Fred Weasley X Reader)

Chapter Five

"Y/N... Y/N, wake up..." Ginny tapped your arm.

"What?" You said groggily.

"We're here.

You sat up and rubbed your eyes. "Yeah, okay I'll meet you out there, just give me a sec."

"Okay, but hurry, the train leaves in five." Ginny said then hurried off to meet the others.

You combed back your hair with your fingers then got up to meet your friends outside.

"Hey, Y/N!" Ginny called from the group of third through seventh years that were gathered by McGonagall. You walked over and stood by your friends.

McGonagall cleared her throat. "Remember if there is ever a time to be cautious this is it. In the event of a panic, we will meet back here. Any questions? None? Well then be on your way."

The group of students then spread out of the station and into Hogsmeade. You, Ginny, Neville, and Luna, however, waited for the crowd to clear. After they all had cleared out you and your group headed to Honeydukes.

Hogsmeade was more wonderful than you had imagined, there was still a little snow leftover from winter. The town wasn't as active as you had hoped, some of the buildings were boarded up, probably due to the Dark Lords uprising. Honeydukes was full of your fellow students, mostly third, fourth, and fifth years. You walked in and noticed the twins stand immediately. You made your way over. The twins were in the prosses of helping a customer.

"Go say hi." Ginny said.

"He looks busy." You walked over to a shelf filled with oversized lollipops, Ginny followed.

"So, if you won't go willingly then," she grabbed your arm, "I'll force you to." She started to drag you in the direction of her brothers.

"Ginny! Ginny let go." You protested.

"Nope." She said as she pushed passed students and just casual shoppers.

"Ginny!" You whined as you approached the boys. Ginny stopped and practically pushed you into Fred.

"Oh, hey Y/N. I was wondering when you were gonna show up." Fred said while he walked to a quieter section of the store, you instinctively followed. Ginny stayed back and conversed with George.

"Oh, yeah. I came in here a couple of minutes ago. I was gonna talk to you, but you looked busy." You rubbed the back of your neck.

"I'm never to busy for a pretty girl." He smirked. You could feel the heat rising in your face.

"What, me, no..." You lowered your head.

Fred smirked. "Hey, do you wanna hang out when I go on break?" 

You could hardly speak, you were still hung up on the fact that he called you pretty.

"Y/N..." Fred waved his hand in front of your face.

"Oh, um..." You snapped out of your thoughts. "Yeah, uh sounds good."

"Good, I'll meet you in front of the Three broomsticks in an hour?"

You nodded your head up and down like an idiot.

"Okay, see you then." He smiled at you then walked back to the little stand with three big W's printed on the front. Ginny walked over to you a few seconds later.

"You've got a date." She teased.

"Yeah, yeah I do."

Gah I just finished writing this chapter, also if I don't post a chapter next Friday it's because I haven't written anything and I'm trying to make the next chapter much longer than the past couple of ones, another reason is that I'm working on writing a few original books and I've kinda made those a priority right now so I'm really sorry if there is a lack of chapters in the coming weeks. I will try to write chapters for this and get them up ASAP
