Inuyasha's POV:
Kagome was awake, but still a bit drowsy. I sat beside her and looked her in the eyes.
"Kagome, don't do that again... I hope you learned your lesson..." I say, looking down a bit.
"I'm sorry...." She said.
I immediately felt horrible when she started crying.
"N-no, don't cry!" I said a bit louder than I intended.
"I can cry if I want to, stupid!" She yelled.
I sighed, remembering it was always the same way with her.
I get up.
"I'm going on a run." I said, grabbing my gun.
"I'll go with you." Miroku said.
"I meant alone." I restated.
"Are you stopping me?" He asked.
I sigh. "Fine, but only you."
Miroku and I duck under the rope we tied under the bridge to keep the biters out and run towards the nearest town.
"What are we looking for?" Miroku asked.
"Medicine, shelter, weapons, gas masks, a vehicle, stuff like that." I said.
"Alright. Maybe we should go to the flower store downtown." Miroku suggested.
"Flower store?" I asked.
"Yeah, if we find seeds we can grow food." He smirked.
"I like how you think."
We both headed towards the flower store in a hurry.
