"Okay initiates, everyone has been paired with someone to fight." Eric says gesturing towards a board with our names written on it. "Look to see who your partner is."

Evie-Molly
Peter-Uriah

I stop after Peter's name since I don't care about any of the other transfers.

I turn my head at the sound of the train hall doors opening. Max and a few other leaders walk in.

"Nervous yet?" Peter whispers in my ear.

"Why would I be? It would give her satisfaction." I whisper back, playing with the wraps on my fists.

"Evie, Molly in the ring." Eric's voice echos across the training hall. I look at Peter one last time before walking towards the ring. He gives me a thumbs up.

Once in the ring, I take off my jacket revealing my scars. Dauntless-born and transfers gasp at the sight. "First time seeing scars?" I ask sarcastically. When I get no response I pop my neck, waiting for Molly to get in the ring.

Once she is in the ring she looks over to Eric waiting for him to tell us to start. Stupid move, I swing at her jaw and she is obviously surprised by it.

"Didn't think I could punch, did you?" I taunt. She lunges at me and I used her momentum against her. I grab her sides and knee her twice in the stomach. She drops to the ground, but she quickly gets back on her feet. Once on her feet I run at her and throw myself on her shoulders, bring her down. I then move so I am on top of her, pinning her down, "Never underestimate a Stiff." I practically growl, before repeatedly punching her in the face.

"Evelyn, that's enough." Tobias yells pulling me away from Molly.

"There's a new rule, Four, they fight until one of them can't. At this rate, Evie has a great chance at winning." Eric says with Max nodding in agreement.

"I will not watch my little sister beat someone to a pulp." Tobias says his voice dripping with anger.

"What if you didn't have to watch?" Max asks. I know what he is suggesting so I pull my way out of Tobias' grasp.

He looks at them and says, "I'm not hitting my sister."

"To bad." I say using my foot to swipe his feet out from under him. Making him hit his head on the mat with a bang. I roll him on his back and straddle his waist pinning his hands above his head. I lean close to his ear and whisper, "You're going to wish I was as merciful as Marcus."

He starts moving underneath me and with one quick motion he throws me off him. I land on my arse, and I groan in annoyance.

When I look up he is standing with his hands on his hips. "You trying to look intimidating?" I ask standing up and walking towards him. He throws a punch at my jaw, predictable. I grab his fist and twist his wrist with ease, hearing a crack. He then uses his free hand to nail me right in my nose. I feel the blood start to drip. I wipe my nose with the bottom of my shirt.

I lunge at him and he puts me in the hold I put Molly in earlier, but before he can knee me in the stomach I knee him in the grond.

He pulls away falling over. I once again I straddle him and I hit him on his right side, where Marcus would whip him. I grunt because of how long it takes me to knock him out.

He notices that I'm distracted and hits my left side making me immediately go into fetal position. I start crying holding onto my side. "Oh my gosh Evelyn, did I hurt you?" Tobias says running towards me, taking my bait. I then look up at him and punch him close to his temple, knocking him out.

"That's what you get for being soft you bastard." I scream at him as I stand up. Everyone staring at me with wide eyes.

"Initiates training over for today. Evie come with us." Eric says gesturing me to come with them.
