Ian walked out of the diner and grabbed Eric's left wrist. Eric looked at him, shocked. What is he doing this time?
"Let's go. I'm sick and tired of the staff bossing us around," Ian said while stomping to the car. Eric followed him but walking. What did he do in there? What did that gang make him do?
Ian helped Eric in the car. He got himself in the backseat with Eric.
"What happened?" Eric asked. Ian looked very angry.
"Why do you want to know?!" Ian snapped. Eric flinched. His eyes began to water. Ian realized that he did that and hugged Eric.
"Sorry. My friends are always getting me into things," Ian said.
"It's okay," Eric said while wiping his tears on the sleeve of his shirt. No! He's not helping you! He's making you sad. He wants to do those things with that gang.
"I miss when I was younger and we played a lot more than now," Ian said while patting Eric's back. Eric was confused. Why is he being nice now but not back in the diner?
"I miss that too," Eric said solemnly. It also was the times when Ian never picked on him.
