"You're sure you're okay?" Ms. Blake asks me once more as I sit in the office, practically being interrogated.
I sigh as I nod my head. "I'm positive. He just came at me and I somehow managed to get away before you guys stopped him."
Ms. Blake points towards my ear, which was still bleeding slightly. "What about that?"
"He just nicked me," I say, brining my fingers up to the wound. It was only a little scratch; one that barely even hurt. "Nothing a band-aid can't fix."
The principle exchanges glances between Ms. Blake and I before back at me. "Okay then, you're free to go. I've already called Mr. Stilinski to get you-"
"Why?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. "I'm fine. I can stay here until the end of the day. There's only one more period left."
Ms. Blake seems surprised along with the principle. "You're telling me you want to stay here after almost being mauled by a kid with a knife?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying."
He shakes his head, borderline laughing. "Alright then. Get back to class."
I nod my head before I'm standing, turning and making eye contact with Ms. Blake. She gives me a faint nod before letting me walk around her and back out into the hall. Aiden had gotten suspended and was in trouble with the police, but I wasn't sure about all of that yet. They said he wouldn't get charged a lot since he technically didn't hurt me, which is still dumb because of the tear marks in my shirt. Sure, they weren't caused by him, but it sure looked like it. The good part I guess was that he wouldn't be back at school anytime soon, which is what we wanted.
I wouldn't have minded going home, but I knew that I needed to stay here for at least until the end of the day. Allison was still here, along with Jade and Ethan, and I had a feeling that they had something else up their sleeve. No way was I going to go back to Stiles' house and wonder what happened; I needed to be here. If they do and try to come at any of us, I can always use myself as leverage.
I turned the corner to walk back into Ms. Hampton's class when I see Allison walk out from one of the other rooms, looking stressed out and worried. She doesn't notice me at first, but then she looks up and her face brightens ever so slightly. I furrow my eyebrows at her before she's walking towards me, tugging me into the janitor's closet that was right next to me.
She shuts the door as I look around briefly. "What's wrong?"
She shakes her head, the dark light in the closet shadowing her face. "That doesn't matter. What happened with you?"
"They just told me that Aiden is in big trouble and that they're glad I'm okay," I say, still wondering what was wrong with her in the back of my mind. Allison nods her head before her eyes widen, staring at the bloody scratch on my ear.
"What happened?" she says as she reaches up to it, but I stop her before she can touch it. "I didn't do that, did I?"
I lower her hand. "I thought you meant to?"
"Why would I mean to hurt you?" she says, sounding utterly confused and hurt.
I hated hearing her like this. "It doesn't hurt, Allison. Besides, it made the whole act look more believable. It's a good thing you did it."
She looks hesitant. "Yeah...I just thought my aim was a lot better than that."
"You did great," I say as I take both of her hands. "I can't believe we actually pulled that off."
A smile finally finds it's way onto her face. "And you're quite the actor. Never thought you'd be so good at it."
I scoff slightly. "Good? I used to do school plays when I was younger but that's about it."
