"Can you guys see it? I swear there's black smoke!" I keep on pointing the smoke outside.

"There's no smoke outside, honey. Just take a rest for now, you've been awake the whole time." Dad said

"Your Dad is right. Rela-" I didn't let Mom to finish what she was saying.

"What if that smoke is coming from a burning house? We should go over there, Mom! We, w-we should. No, we m-must ..." Then suddenly, I feel like my lungs are running out of air.

"Arnold just pull over!" The car stopped immediately right after.

All I could think of right now is fire. I feel like I need to save someone from fire.

The door on my right opened, revealing Mom and Dad.

"I need you to relax, Livy. Remember what Dr. Curtis said? Breathe in, breathe out. Close your eyes, honey. Do it again. Breathe in, breathe out."

I did. But there's smoke and fire. I couldn't breathe properly.

"Olivia! You have to breathe! In and out, in and out!" Dad said, holding my hand.

"Water. She needs water." Mom disappeared.

In and out. In and out. In and out.

Then I saw Adam walking towards a gate.

"Look! There's a gate!" Adam shouted.

"Here, drink. It's not real, honey. It's not real. There's no fire." Mom held the bottle and helped me drink it.

"Look! Over there! There's a gate!" I heard Adam shouted again.

"Will you just sto-"

Dad started to walk where Adam is standing.

"Is this the inn, Dad?" Adam asked.

I didn't hear what Dad replied to Adam.

"Don't worry, Livy. There's no fire, open your eyes now." Mom hugged me.

I slowly opened my eyes,

Mom was right. There's no fire. Everything is calm and peaceful. The trees are still green, there's no terrible fire. I don't need to save someone.

"Mom! Can we go inside?" Adam called, wanting attention.

Mom observed what's behind those old and rusty bars.

"I don't think so, Adam. Should we?" Mom asked Dad.

"Well, if they let us in then it's perfectly fine, but if they don't, then we'll have no choice than to drive ahead. Will Livy be okay with that?" Dad told Mom.

I want to tell Dad it's really fine by me if we just go back in the car and drive to Uncle Pete's. I really just want to end this vacation. I want these stupid delusions to stop. But I couldn't, everything around is whirling. I know I couldn't walk straight to Dad without even falling face-first on the ground.

"We'll go inside, but only because Livy needs to take a rest for awhile. After that, we should head back to the inn, okay?" Mom said in a stern voice.

I didn't know what happened next. All I know is that, I fell from a deep sleep that I just don't want to wake up anymore.
