The power couple. I'd never imagined that would be what Eddie and my relationship would be like, but things were moving constantly between us. We were both easygoing, verging on lazy people, but lately all the two of us had been doing was working. Eddie took on various acting projects while I worked on the movie adaptation of the book I'd written a few years previous.

"When did this happen to us?" Eddie asked one night. He was lounged out on the bed, reading Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them for his new movie, highlighter in hand, while I sat at the desk just across from the bed, working on a script on my computer. At this, I turned in my chair and raised an eyebrow. "We've become so busy. I miss you, love." He said quietly. I smile.

"I miss you too, Eddie. I love you." I replied. He smiled gently. "We can watch a movie as soon as I've finished this scene." I replied, turning back to my computer. Eddie groaned and climbed out of bed, clad in his matching, button up collared pyjamas with a green knit sweater on top. His hands found my shoulders and he squeezed them gently.

"I'll run you a bath." He said, kissing me on the head. I smiled and turned to kiss his full, soft lips quickly.

Eddie understood the amount of work I had I do, and allowed me to finish the scene quickly while the bath filled. When I was finally able to shut my laptop and make my way into the bathroom, the lights had been dimmed, the stereo had been out on, and various candles lined the tub. He had even lit incense and filled the bath with bubbles. I smiled and sighed contentedly at the sight.

"You took too long, so I took the liberty of joining you." Eddie said softly, sending me a half grin from his recline in the tub. I laughed lightly and stripped down under his appreciative gaze, before slipping in on the other side. Our bare legs tangled between us, my foot tracing patterns in his chest and our hands intertwined.

"This is perfect." I said quietly, my eyes boring into his. I smiled again and sat forward, parting the water and straddling him. He traced his fingertips gently up and down my spine, grinning at me and studying my features.

"You're a dream." He said softly. I smiled, his words still managing to bring a blush to my cheeks after all this time. He leaned in and kissed below my jaw and down my neck to my collarbones. I sighed into him, tangling my fingers in his hair and leaning my forehead against his shoulder. I kissed the patch of freckles there, and the freckles between his eyebrows, and the freckles on his hip. I kissed everywhere in between, too, until all our stress melted along with the bubbles in the water as it grew cold. Our jobs could wait. Life and love and hope and Eddie rested between my hips and under my arm as we slept naked between the sheets that night. Whatever else there was, it was simply background noise in the soundtrack of my life with Eddie.
