Amber 9 months

Spencer's POV

"Spencer" I hear Brian calling me. I go downstairs to see what the fuss is all about. 

"Yes babe?"

"Someone is here for you" he steps to the right revealing Ashley and baby Amber

"Ashley" I screamed. I ran to hug her

"And my favorite baby, Baby Amber" 

"Spence, it's so good to see you" Ashley said

"You too, what are you doing here so early, the wedding isn't for 3 more weeks, not that I'm complaining" I asked. Ashley and I have a close friendship. She's such a sweet person. Not only is she soon going to be my sister-in-law, but she's my best friend. I love her like she's my own. Melissa and I never had a close sistership, so Ashley is like a sister to me. Amber on the other hand is baby Amber. OMG she's such a cutie ad very loving. I was there when Ashley gave birth. I was the second to hold her. She's like a daughter I never got a chance to had.

"Im here because I have something to do and I need someone to watch baby Amber. Eric is sick and I know how much you love her, so I was wondering-"

"Of course I'll watch Amber" I cut Ashley off. I take Amber away from Ashley and held her in my arms.

"Hi my Angel, Auntie Spencer loves you very much"

'So I'm going to leave, everything you need to know is in her baby bag, and please make sure she was Mr. Miggins at all times when she's asleep." Ashley told us.

'Ash, dont worry, we got this" Brian said

"Okay, well bye guys, bye baby Amber". Ashley left leaving us with baby Amber.

"Okay well I have to go finish up the barn, then I need to go to Jordan so he can fix my tux, and I have an online meeting with my boss, I will be busy, but if you need anything-

"You're only a phone call away I know Brian, go have fun or whatever" I said. He laughs and kisses me on the lips and Amber on the forehead and leaves.

Ding

I get a text message. I look at it and see it's from Toby. Oh boy, I'm suppose to avoid him, I want to avoid him.

"Hey can we meet up at the park?" - T

"Ugh I'm going to regret this" I said to Amber who's just playing with my hair

"Yeah sure, but I'm bringing someone" - S

I put on my blue and black strip long sleeve shirt, black pants, and flats. I picked up Amber and her baby bag and headed out. I wonder what he wants to talk about. I walk into my car and strap Amber into her carseat Ashley gave us and drove off.

Toby's POV

I texted Spencer asking her to meet up so we can talk about..what happened in the past. I was getting ready to head out when I saw Yvonne about to knock

"Yvonne what are you doing here" I ask

"Going somewhere" she ask

"Yeah, I'm meeting a friend" I said

"Who" she said as she crossed her arms

"Uh Caleb" I lied

"mmmhmm, okay see you later" she said.

I quickly got into my car and drove off to meet Spencer. I parked my car and sat on the park bench waiting for Spencer. moments later I see a Mercedes Benz pull up. The person gets out the car and it's Spencer. I smile at her. She looks really beautiful. She steps out and goes to the back and gets something out. I frowned. It was a baby. Was it her's and Brian's baby. She really had moved on. She started making her way towards me. 

"Hey Toby" she greets

"oh Hey Spencer". I got up to hug her.

"So uh what did you want to talk about." Spencer says as she sets up a blanket on the floor and put toys for Amber and put her on the blanket. She's a really cute baby.

I sat on the bench and she does the same. I took out the letter and picture she left in the box I found.

"I found this in the box with everything you send back" I said. She gasp

"I totally forgot about this letter. But there isn't anything to talk about, I moved on from it and you did too" she sighs

"I'm sorry" I said

"what"

"I said I'm sorry, about everything. choosing you over my badge after promising you I wouldn't, packing up and not coming back. being angry after the loss of our baby" I said

"Toby-

"No please listen i'm not done, Spencer I-

The baby starts crying, so Spencer picks her up and giver her bottle and feeds her. 

"shhh, it's okay my princess" she coos at the baby

"She's very beautiful" I said

"She gets her looks from her mom and dad" she smiles

I slightly frown

"Oh Toby she's not mine, this is Brian's niece Amber"

I sighed of relief. As much as I want to deny it, I never stop thinking about her, even after I break up. I still love her and knowing that she's going to get married soon is really hurting my chances. Yvonne is great but Spencer has my heart. Always have and always will. I continue to look at Spencer. She talks to the baby and the baby babbles trying to talk about

"Look at that dimple smiles and beautiful sparkly brown eyes, ooh the boys will be all over you, your daddy and Uncle will be so over protective to you" she tells the baby. She snuggles the baby and place her back on the blanket and Amber continues to play with her toys.

"Are you nervous" I ask

"Nervous about what"

"The wedding, getting married and all"

'Yes, believe me I am, I've been waiting for this forever. Everything is a dream come true" she said

"Do you love him"

"Listen, Toby what we had was special and you will always be my first love, to answer your question, yes I do love him, I found my soulmate'

"TOBY" we hear someone hear my name. We turn around and see Yvonne storming her way over here.

"I thought you said you were going to meet up with Caleb, not your ex"

"Yvonne I

"Wait you said you were meeting with Caleb" Spencer stated

"Spencer I-"

"We're done Toby, it's over" Yvonne yells. She gets in her car and rives off. I turn and see Spencer packing up and getting ready to leave.

"Spencer wait I can explain" I said

"Toby, not now, I have to go. there was no reason to lie, bye Toby". She puts Amber in her car seat and drives off. We never got to finish our convo and now she's mad at me and Yvonne broke up with me. When did life get so complicated?
