Chapter 8: Ready to go!

We went to Appa, where Zuko and Aang were waiting on us.

"It didn't go that bad..."

I tried to cheer them up, but it didn't really help.

"The whole crowd hates you now, but hey, it were only around 2500 people and some of the most important people of the Earth Kingdom."
"Sokka!"
"You're not really helping!"
"Sorry, I was just saying..."

Why does my brother always have to say those things?

"Sokka is right, we failed there..."

Everyone climbed on Appa and we went back home.
At home we were planning our trip to Kyoshi island, because we wanted Suki and Ty Lee to come with us!

But at Kyoshi Island a lot happened.
-Suki PoV-

"Suki, can I talk to you?"
"Yeah, sure."
"You know we practice chi-blocking at..."

All the other Kyoshi warriors came to us, but they were looking very mean.

"Look, I'm gonna say it one time only."

It was Aisha, she's so jealous of us.

"We do not want you 2 wanna-be's, get lost and never return!"

I knew it was gonna happen, but I was still shocked.
They kicked us out of the group.
Ty Lee was very sad about it.

"What, guys I thought we were best friends?"
"No were not, you're too dumb.
now pack you stuff and get out, and you don't have to cry, circus clown."

Ty Lee started crying so loud.
It was painful to watch.

"Don't listen to them, they're idiots."

With pain in our hearts, we packed our stuff and left Kyoshi Island.

"Am I really a circus clown?"

Ty Lee said with tears in her eyes.

"No, for me you are perfect!"

I smiled, but she was very upset by what happened and we had nowhere to go.

"What are we gonna do now, where are we gonna go, will we stay together or will you leave me or..."
"Ty Lee stop!"
"What?!"
"We are not going to split up, we're best friends!"

I took her in my arms and we hugged, very tight.
She needed to calm down.

"I don't know where we're gonna go, let's just stay the night in the forest and go to a village tomorrow."
"Are you sure we can stay the night in a forest?"
"Ty Lee, You don't have to be scared, 2 chi blockers in a forest, what could possibly happen?"
"I guess you're right, let's go and make a campfire."

We went into the forest and found a good spot to spend the night, wade a campfire and wondered where we would go in the future, maybe we could rejoin Team Avatar?
But we're not important enough to attend all these fancy speeches and dinners.
That makes me think of Sokka
Oh what do I miss Sokka.
Especially his jokes and optimism.
I had trouble falling in sleep, because I couldn't stop thinking about Sokka, but I guess that's life.

Life is sometimes sad, especially when your girlfriend kissed your partner to rule the world.

-Katara PoV-

"Everybody ready?"
"Yes"
"Wait I need just a little more time... FINISHED!"
"Let's go to Kyoshi Island!"

We were all excited to see Ty Lee and Suki, we liked them very much.
So we jumped on Appa and flew to Kyoshi Island.
The trip was awkward as hell.
Aang didn't talk much.
Zuko and I didn't know what to do.
Sokka was ofcourse extremely happy.
And Toph fell asleep.
How can I make everything ok again?
After a solid 2 hours on Appa we landed, normally everyone was always very happy at Kyoshi Island, but things were different.
Everybody seemed depressed.

"What's with everybody, normally they're all happy, now they are sad."
"I don't know, but we should go to Ty Lee and Suki."

As we knocked at their training room, Aisha opened the door, strange.
Normally Suki always opened the door.

"Sorry, we don't want to be bothered while we're training, leave."

She slammed the door in our faces.
We tried to opened it, but they locked it.

"Why would Suki do this?"

Sokka smiled.

"To check if we really are Team Avatar, I have a key."

He took his key and opened the training door, but Suki and Ty Lee weren't there.

"Where's Suki and Ty Lee?!"

They explained everything, what a bunch of dumb stupid girls.
We left and searched for Ty Lee and Suki, we found them rather quick because we saw smoke coming out of the forest.
It was the campfire of Suki and Ty Lee.

"Suki, my sugarpopsicles!"

Yes, that's my brothers nickname for Suki.

"Why are the two of you out here in this forest?!"

They explained everything and so did we.
They came on Appa and together we were Ready to save father!
