Chapter 11: Ambushed before dinner

"Where should we go?"

"I have no idea."

"We could go to Mai, spend the night at Ember Island and then see where we should go."

I'm not sure, but it was the best idea we had so we should do it.

"Alright, I'll fly us there."

I went to Appas head and flew us to Ember island.

-Katara Pov-

I could tell that Aang was mad at Zuko.
Pff, I'll never fix this...
But there are priorities atm, like the text on the wall...
What could it mean?

"nga andam, kay ang katapusan! Ang mga Rebelde mahimong madaugon!"

"So sokka, have you already figured out what it means?"

"Well Katara, it's strange. This doesn't look like an ancient language at all.
In fact, it should be a recent one, think 40 years ago or something."

"Can't you go to Iroh and ask him, he'll know it if it's from 40 years ago."

"That's a good idea Suki!"

"But there's a better idea, go to an expert on language."

Expert on language? Where could we find that? Toph always has strange ideas...

"Where can we find such an expert Toph?"

"Nowhere, and that's the problem, however. There are libraries that may help you out."

"BRILLIANT!"

Sokka jumped into the sky

"There's a library with all knowledge about the history of the Earth kindom, and it has a whole section about language! Oh, never mind,  it's in Omashu and only a few  approved earthbenders are allowed inside..."

"And I am one of them. I could easily get us inside!"

WHAT?! Toph has access to the library in Omashu?!
Damn...

"I didn't know you had access to the library in Omashu, congratulations!"

"Thanks Katara but it's kinda meh,  since I can't read..."

A few moments later we arrived at Ember Island.
Zuko could get in us a big house, where no one lived anymore.
He knew the owners from when he was a child.
Mai joined us again, which made Ty Lee extremely happy.

"I'm hungry, I am sooo hungry!"

Ofcourse Sokka was hungry, he's always hungry...

"Let's cook some dinner"

We decided to go to a shop, but when we arrived to the shops, everyone was gone. We didn't see a single person.

"Where's everybody? Mai when you came out of the hospital, did you see someone?"

Mai shrug her shoulders and said:

"I haven't seen anyone when I was allowed to leave, but I went straight to the house so I didn't notice it."

I'm so sick of this, why do all these strange this happen?

And by saying that, everything got even stranger...
Toph sensed a lot men were coming with her feet-vision

"Guys, we're in trouble! There are many men coming our way!"

"Aaah!"

When Toph said those words, we were surrounded by ~50 men.
They used earthbending to trap us all.

But Toph, the earthbending queen didn't get trapped, and she was to face all these men alone.

-Toph Pov-

Everyone got sucked down, pulled below the ground.
And I was standing above the ground alone, but I won't let them get me!
I did recognise them, they had hands behind their back, made from earth.
And I only know one group that does that, the Dai-li.
I'll show them who's boss, Toph style.

"Oh, did your earthbending trick fail on me? Ofcourse it did! I AM THE BEST EARTHBENDER EVER! So come, try your best against me Dai-li agents...
Hahaha!"

But to my surprise they didn't attack me, they just stood still in front of me.
And then a man came, masked.
He wore a mask, so it must mean he is the same person we saw in the air temple.

"You..."

I said while pointing at him

"Who are you? Why do you wear a mask? Did you write that message on the wall? What do you want?!"

He started laughing,  but he won't be laughing for long, because when I'm finished with him, he'll be crying.
No one messes with Toph!

"You ask too many questions little girl.."

LITTLE GIRL?!?! HOW DOES HE DARE?!

"I MIGHT BE A LITTLE GIRL, BUT THIS ROCK ISN'T LITTLE!"

As I said that I lifted a giant boulder with all my strength and threw him at the masked man.
But Ofcourse, the Dai-li protected him..

"Don't get too aggressive, I came to talk, to you..."

I told you I would update more!
But did you readers like the Toph Pov?  I tried to different it from Katara's PoV, because their personalities are different.
