(Because people have been so kind, I decided to do a longer update!)
~~Kelly's POV~~
I curled up beside Ryan, watching his chest rise and fall with each unnecessary breath. I suppose, despite being dead, it's a habit to breathe. I should ask him when we get back home. I heard an unusual sound outside. I'm going to guess this isn't going to be good.
~~Kelly's Father's POV~~
I smelt it. I know I did! A vampire, somewhere on MY territory! I'm going to kill that sickening blood sucker before he can hurt my daughter or my wife!!!
~~Kelly's Mother's POV~~
I wonder if Kelly noticed the scent on her mate. He's royalty, I can just tell. But from what family? It smells SO familiar! I just know it...
~~Ryan's POV~~
My eyes slowly peeled open. Where's Kelly? I hope she's ok. Wait, why does everything look so different? I jerked my wrists and roared out in pain when a burning sensation ripped through my arms. I looked down, seeing chains attached to my wrists. Wtf?! What's going on here?!
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!" I roared, standing up and jerking on the chains despite the ripping feeling. A guard looked up.
"Well, well, well. Looks like pretty boy decided to wake up. Guess I should call the Alpha." The guard picked up a nearby phone and dialed a number. "Sir he's awake." The guard listened before hanging up.
"WHERE IS MY MATE?!?!" I glared the pup down, seething at the fact my mate was no where near me. The guard raised an eyebrow.
"Mate huh? The Alpha won't buy that but nice try." He looked down at a book and ignored me despite my roars of rage and pain, just wishing my spunky mate could kiss away the pain.
~~Kelly's POV~~
--Earlier--
I heard a sickening crack and suddenly my door fell to the ground. A growl left my lips as I glared at the intruder.
"What do you think you're doing?" Venom dripped off of my words, my hazel eyes burning a hole into the perpetrator. "Get out!"
"I don't think so little one."
I hate my father.
