My face felt warm and I sent Trent off to go talk "in detail" about our business merge. It felt odd having Ian sitting there watching intently as I sucked in pasta . It was also odd when he wiped away the sauce from the corner of my mouth and give me a dazzling grin. I set my fork down and crossed my arms. I saw cameras flashing frantically it made me sigh and grab my purse.

"It was very nice seeing you again, Mr. Fr-"

"Call me Ian."He cut in with a smile.

I smiled and crossed my arms." I'd still love to be addressed formally if you don't mind."

He nodded in amusement and gestured for the waiter to come to our table. " Do you have wine?"

The waiter stopped in his tracks and shook his head.Fear was written all over his face and he mumbled a response that even I could barely hear. My gaze soften some when I noticed that the boy was shaking in his spot  and his breathing was getting hard and too fast.

"There is no need for you to be alarmed ." I told the kid soothingly. "We have nothing to-"

I'm sorry but the lady is going to buy our place." The kid said with a rush." We don't have anything else to offer you. Mrs. Alini doesn't want your business or advances, Sir."

Ian paused in his seat and gave a threatening smile with no teeth. His eyes glittered in rage and he seemed as if he were going to snap the boy in half." And who might this lady be?"

"Me." I said with a smile on my lips.

He face still remained cold." Since when?"

Trent swooped in and grabbed our belongings. He brushed off crumbs from my designer dress and waited patiently for me to get up.

"When I make business proposals with clients I do not make it publicly known. Especially with rival companies and especially with companies that are owned by men  who think they can swoop in and take my business I worked hard for with my own bare hands. That isn't how this will play out. That isn't what I am going to allow to happen."

Ian glowered."Cut the crap. We both know that what we have between us isn't about our companies."

I stood up and gave him a smile." It is for me. Let's go Trent, we have a meeting in five."

Trent pushed me forward gently from the middle of my back and we both slipped on our shades that blocked the flashes from the crazed crowds in front of us. He pushed away people that were getting too close and we managed to safely get into the car and drive away.

I wasn't able to brush off the the feeling of being watched intently and refused to turn and meet those stunning pair of eyes even for a second. I kept my gaze forward  and watched a blur of different colors on the side and the grey concrete with yellow dashes quickly going under our car. I looked down at my cellphone and pretended to be interested in the stock market and its percent changes while Trent turned up the music. I looked out the window again and saw that we were getting closer to the office.

"Spill." He told me with  a sigh. " This silence is stressing me out."

"We don't need to speak every second of the day Trent." I snapped.
