I watched Harry's features distort into an ugly scowl as he heard what I had just said. I chuckled to myself, I had only said that to spite him. I would probably end up sitting at home watching another episode of The Vampire Diaries.

"Got a problem curly?" I cheekily said. His eyes brightened up, taking my remark as a challenge. "Not at all babe" He responded with a wink, "see you there, and wear something nice." He smirked and walked away.

I shuddered at how vulgar Harry could be. No way was I going to that party to watch him hit on sluts all night. Not that I cared, I obviously couldn't give two shits less about what that jerk did.

Jade stared at me looking ecstatic. " Yay! The party's going to be so fun!" She shouted and started rambling about how she couldn't wait to get me all dolled up. She looked so happy, and I didn't want to rain on her parade, so I waited until after Harry was out of earshot to give her the bad news.

"Jade.. I hate to break it to you but I only said I was going to that party to wipe the grin off of Harry's face." I said, sounding genuinely sorry. Jade went from super excited to looking like a sad puppy.

"It's alright I guess.." Jade quickly responded looking slightly discouraged. I gave her a weak smile as the bell rang , signifying the end of the lunch period.

I spent the rest of the day trying to memorize my schedule and map of the school. I also couldn't help but think about Harry and his nonstop goal to bug me. Why just me? Did he do this to every other girl he talked to? Hell, did he even talk to any other girls?!

He seemed like he hated everyone around him.. so it wouldn't be surprising if he just chose me from his long list of people he wants to annoy.

Nothing interesting happened during the rest of the day. I only spotted Harry once more throughout the day in my music class.

As the day ended I stalked out into the school's parking lot with the lads and debated whether we should go out and get a drink at the pub. I leaned against my 1967 Impala as Louis was blabbing about some new gang in town.

I smirked as I saw a group of girls gawking at me and whispering. I knew they all thought I was hot, I mean who didn't. But none of them would ever want to be with me if they knew who I really was. What I was really like. But I don't care, I never have. I've been alone all my life and I've grown accustomed to living that way.

I was ripped away from my thoughts when I saw a talk dark shadow approaching me. As I glanced up at the owner of the shadow my hands instantly balled up into fists. It was the leader of the new gang Louis was talking about.

When you form a gang in the same town as another group, you better be prepared to stand your ground. No town is big enough for the both of you.

I gritted my teeth as 'Mitch' (apparently that's this scumbags name) neared me.

"You shouldn't be here" I spat. Rivaling gangs are already the enemy and I have never needed a reason to start a fight before, so I was already preparing myself to throw some punches.

"Well look who it is. Mr Harry Styles is it?" Mitch chuckled darkly.

I squinted at him not understanding how he knew me when I only had a vague idea of who he was. Mitch noticed and chuckled once again.

"Oh you don't remember me do you? I guess all those blows to the head you recieved from me must've worsened your memory."

I still had no idea what he was saying and was beginning to have enough of this prick. He opened his mouth once more and quickly said "Well maybe this will jog your memory" as he swiftly swung his fist towards my jaw.

I strolled out into the parking lot a little later than everyone else, due to the fact that I was still struggling to find the exit of that damn maze of a school.

I could hear faint sounds of bones cracking coming from the far end of the lot. I quickly hurried along and tried not to get noticed by the group of boys that were trying to pound each other's faces in.

As I was shuffling by them I noticed a familiar set of ringlets bouncing up and down as their owner was constantly dodging blows. I realized who they belonged to and my stomach twisted in fear. Harry.

I knew he was known for getting into fights but I had hoped I would never have to witness one. Harry was dogding punches and throwing even harder ones that would land his opponent smack in the face.

I couldn't stand anymore of their gruesome fighting and as I was turning to walk the other way, Harry's eye caught mine. For a few seconds our gazes connected and it felt like time froze. Then the next moment Harry recieved his first crucial blow to the face.

I couldn't help but gasp as the impact of the hit caused Harry's nose to start spurting blood. I backed away slowly hoping my gasp hadn't caused anyone to notice me. My prayers were not answered and everyone's heads snapped towards me.
