Spongebob ran back home try to gather enough square pants to last him the whole bus ride there. As he was walking out the door he remembered, "Gary!" He quickly ran to Squidward's house knowing that his bus would be at the bus stop in 10 minutes. "Squidward!" He yelled, panting.
Squidward opened his door, his eyes narrowed. "Spongebob! What could you possibly--"
"Squidward, I need you to look after Gary!" "Well why should I do that? All you have done all day is run around yelling and disturbing my clarinet playing."
"Squidward, this is really important! I need you to look after Gary, please." Spongebob begged.
"Whats in it for me?"
Spongebob sighed. "I'll.. I'll trim your hedges for a month!"
Squidward arched an eyebrow (somehow.) "That's barnacles. They only need to be trimmed once a month and I got them trimmed last Wednesday."
"I will polish your knick-knacks everyday for the next month." Spongebob said nervously.
"That would do nicely. Fine, I'll watch your dumb snail. But we have a deal."
