The moon was shining high in the sea by the time they made it to Jellyfish Fields. It was very beautiful and Spongebob couldn't help but stare for a long time.
Patrick smiled and looked back at his friend. "Did you bring a net?"
Spongebob nodded, pulling out his special net. Patrick pulled out his old-fashioned wooden net. The two of them sat down on a hill and waited for the jellyfish to emerge from their watery caves they used as houses.
"So, Spongebob.." Patrick started. Spongebob gulped. His heart was already racing. Patrick just had to worsen it.
"Spongebob, there's something I've wanted to talk to you about for.. a while.."
Spongebob looked at him. What could he have to talk about? Was something wrong? He was so nervous, and by this time, he'd begun to shake.
"Well.. Spongebob.." Patrick looked down. "This is gonna be.. this might be kind of weird.."
"You can tell me anything, Patrick." Spongebob reassured.
"Well.. Spongebob.."
Spongebob waited.
".. Spongebob, I love you."
