Knifes That React

LAYNES P.O.V.

The first two days went by slow for us.

We pretty much did the same thing every day.

Eat, sleep, watch movies, take walks and more sleep.

Jane started going with us on the walks but Berry tried as well but complained all the way, he even promised not to make a mini Monterrey cycle so he had to keep up with us.

When we went inside a gift shop looking for something to buy since Jim gave us each 20 dollars, I don't know why he did, maybe he was going to charge me after.

Then we found a gift shop that had a lot of stuff, Jane went to the clothes and me and Kaleb looked at the knifes.

Rebel, Kalebs dog went with us one time but Kaleb didn't want her to get hurt so he left her with Berry and and Jim.

There were two of the same knifes that caught our eyes.

The one Kaleb liked was a spring assisted opener, with a pearl Handel that had blue lightning bolts all across it.

The one I liked was the same type of knife, the Handel was wood but had fire engravings on it it looked so dope.

I pointed at the two knives and asked if me and Kaleb could see them, the man who were handeling the knives looked at us suspishely but let us see them any ways.

Something happened when I flicked my blade open,

The fire engravings started to move!

I gasped, and the man gave me a weird look.

I looked at Kalebs, but he quickly closed his blade.

"How much" he emmedietly asked.

"Is there an adult with you, if not I'm not going to sale them, well at least not to you two"
The man said, but curiously.

I could tell Kaleb was about to say, yes, so I blurted out.

"No, but..." I look over at a furious Kaleb, then back at the man "I have Pyra, the ring of fire"

"What, what are you kids on drugs or someth--" the man froze, and his hands started to shake by his sides, his eyes rolled In the back of his head.

Then he collasped on the floor.

A minute later the man staggered back on his feet while he held his head.

"Sorry" he said wincing "what was i- um ...huh?" He looked at me and Kaleb weird.

Then I quickly say "you were going to give us the knifes for five dollars" the man looked at me weirder, and I could see Kalebs jaw drop.

Before the man could remember I hand him the 10 dollars, grab Kalebs arm and run over to the shirts.

We waited to see if the man would call the police but he went and helped a costomer by the watches.

Me and Kaleb both give off a sigh.

Jane's voice then asked behind us.

"Does this look ok?"

I turn around slowley as I put my knife in my pocket.

Jane had a pink shirt held up to her chest, it said:

SF GIANTS

"Pink?" Kaleb says, then I bang him in the ribs with my elbow, he gave off a "hwww..." and held his side.

Then I say to Jane "you look good in anything"

Jane smiles but then she looks at the price tag, she frowns.
