A Yellow Brick Road of Confusion

LAYNES P.O.V.

I yell Infinity to hurry up, Jane was looking like she was haveing a seizure in his arms.

I just wish I still had Pyra!

I had to force against the wind, head first, my hands cuffed under my arm pits.

Infinity yelled "we need the hurry, since its a test there might be a tornado coming, just watch out if the every thing goes still!!!"

We finally made it at the edge of the tunnel after the blue light stopped flashing from the mouth of the cave.

My head made it first and Infinity had rushed behind me, I found Emily sitting down, her ankel was bent at an odd shape.

And Kaleb, he smiled when he saw me, there were body's of dogs just like the one that fell on me, but when Infinity charged in and sat Jane down next to some rocks.

His face turned into an ugly stair of anger, his whole arms zapped to life with deadly sparking electricity.

He ran forward, but I shove his chest

"Stop! STOP! Kaleb stop!!!"

He tried to go forward, I new he was stronger than me with his ring but I had to stop him, my feet were scratching and biting the dirt behind me.

Finally, nothing else to do, I hit him in the face.

Kaleb staggered back holding his face where a purple spot showed, and I shook my fist and clutched it, if I would have punched any harder, I would gave broken my knuckles.

"Layne!" He finally said, his eyes sparked with blue electricity balls. "What.is.he.doing.here" he breathed out every word angerly,

I get closer as Emily gets back against the other end of the cave.

Until she groans as her ankel hits a rock lightly.

Kaleb flinched at that but kept his eyes on Infinity's.

Already, kelabs face was starting to heal.

"Inf-I-he-" I stutter tthen "hewastrapppedbythesesnakechainsandhesaidifirealesedhimhewillhelpmefindyourparentsmybrotherandyouguys" I say really fast, nervous.

No the purple scar is totally healed from his face, he looks down at my hands and his eyes go wide.

"Wha-what happened to Pyra!" He got closer, then his hands sparked to life even more "don't tell me-if you don't say things a little slower there will be prices of Infinity every where!"

So I do, I tell him the whole story and our tests, when I was done, me, Kaleb and Infinity were sitting on rocks.

Jane was placed in front of me, starring at me with barely opened eyes, it was warmer in the cave and that made her shakeing and shivering go down just a little, but not that much.

"And Pyra..." Kaleb breathed, his eyes were now normal and had calemed down near the end of the story, "is the ring...totally gone, like for ever"

Infinity cleared his throught.

"Well ...for now ill need to make another one, but I might even lose all my fire power of i-" he stared at Kaleb then said "um...never mind" and looked away and then got closer to Jane and spread his hands over her, she gasped for air then ...started to sleep.

Kaleb got up fast "what did you jus-"

"Now now" Infintiy said calmly "I justly put her to sleep, the fever and hyperthermia is leaving her, if I did it in the storm she would have died...I'm going to need to do it to all of you"
