You'd heard the stories, listened to the rumours, and you wanted to see for yourself. They said that the Monsters lived Underground, only accessible through Mt Ebott, after being sealed there when the humans won. They said they were terrible creatures, revelling in death and destruction, and you, being an empathetic, kind soul, didn't want to believe that they were all bad. Surely the rumours were just exaggerations! You were determined to prove that they were good creatures. They were probably better than humans, at least! It was with these thoughts running through your head tat you topped the final rise of Mt Ebott, and looked down into a seemingly endless void. Staying reasonably far from the edge of the hole, you looked in. There was a faint spot of yellow down there, but you could hardly see it.
