A/N: Yay I actually updated at a reasonable time!!
Anyways I was thinking of writing another fanfic, this time based on the actual anime(not a high school AU) and it'll be stingue XD
I also have an idea for a second generation fanfic, which is basically all of our OTPS children! (Nalu, Gruvia, STINGUE)
But I'll definitely finish this story before moving onto those XD
Anyways, enjoy Chapter 6- The Truth

Rogue looked clearly surprised to hear the woman's voice from behind him.
"O-oh, Kagura, I thought you left..."
She snorted sarcastically, flipping a strand of dark purple hair behind her shoulder. She had cold, but very pretty hazel eyes and the complexion of a model. Despite her beauty, something about her rubbed Sting the wrong way. He decided he didn't like her.
An awkward silence fell over them, Yukino mouthing a quick 'sorry!' before rushing to her next class, leaving Sting alone with Rogue and Kagura. He felt her cold glare bearing into him, but he chose to ignore it. Instead, he turned his focus to Rogue, who was looking down shyly at the ground, a light pink blush dusting his cheeks. He lifted his head up suddenly, meeting Sting's brilliant blue eyes.
Sting felt his heart skip a beat. Memories began to flood back, but one stood out in particular.
He could almost hear Rogue's voice as he stared longer into those crimson eyes that could only belong to the love of his life.
"I promise."
Suddenly, their gaze was torn as Kagura gave an obnoxiously loud groan, tapping her high-heeled foot in impatience. "Come on babe! I don't have all day!"
Wait.
Did she just call Rogue... Babe?
No.
Sting's eyes widened in horror as his suspicions were confirmed as Kagura grabbed Rogue's arm impatiently and smashed her lips against his. His eyes widened in surprise, but Sting couldn't watch any longer.
"I've gotta go. See ya Rogue." Sting muttered as he ducked his head down and shoved his way through the crowd, trying to hold in his tears.
Why was he even surprised?
Of course Rogue would move on.
They were kids. Stupid, ignorant nine year-olds that didn't have the slightest idea what love was.
Yet... Sting knew his feelings for Rogue were true. It was what kept him going for the last seven years.
What kept him from giving up on everything.
What kept him from loosing all hope.
What kept him alive.
But... Now?
He had nothing. Everything was gone. Rogue was gone.
In the end, promises weren't real... They were all just lies.

Sorry that was kinda a short chapter, I just had a sudden rush of genius so I wrote and then it ended XD
