I feel that I have learned the true meaning of the words " you are dead to me." It's when you want someone back, but it wouldn't be right, see when people die, there loved ones greave for them. So if you care for the person who's "dead to you" it doesn't mean you hate them or never want to see them again, it just means that your trying to forget but can't, you miss them, the same way you would a lost loved one, they are a lost loved one.. Aren't they? And maybe it seems like where ever you go there ghost is haunting you, maybe an angry spirit or one in pain, or both even, who knows.
To the person, or people I should say who are "dead to me", I'm sure they won't all see this, if they do they'll either laugh or cry, but just know, " I won't greave , I'll remember you, I'm not going to forget, I could never forget.."
