Epilogue

The Wedding

I was putting the last earring in while I waited for 5:00 to come around. There was a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said. My mom walked in with something behind her back. "Yeah mom?"

"You look so beautiful." She whispered.

"Thanks mom. What do you have behind your back?" I asked.

"Well I know you have something old and new, so I decided to give you your something borrowed." She took out a box from behind her back. She placed it in my hands and I opened it gently.

Inside was a beautiful diamond necklace. It was very simple and perfect for my dress.

"Mom, it's beautiful. I can't wear this though." I tried to give it back to her.

"You grandmother gave that to me on my wedding day. I wore it as my something borrowed and I later inherited it. I want you to wear it." She pushed it back.

I nodded my head and she helped me pin it behind my neck. "Alright. The wedding is about to start so I need to get in my seat. I love you Addy."

"I love you too mom." I kissed her cheek and she left the room I was in. Mason and I were getting married at Tashas house outside in her garden. I was currently in the room I stayed in when she first took me in. All of my bridesmaids, which were Christine and Ashley and Tasha was the maid of honor, were in the room next door getting ready. My flower girls were Candice, Kenzie, and Katrina, and my ring bearer was Charlie. Masons best man was Chris and his groomsmen were Brenden and Liam. There was another knock on my door but I got up and answered it this time.

"You ready sweety?" My dad asked.

"As I'll ever be." I smiled and he linked arms with me. We walked downstairs and saw everyone lined up to go out the doors into the hot summer sun.

After convincing Mason we couldn't get married the next day, I settled that we could have a summer wedding which would give my mom 6 months to plan it. She said she needed more time but that was all we gave her.

"Addy you look gorgeous." Tasha said coming up to me.

"You all look amazing too." I smiled and gave we a hug.

"I think I look better." Brenden said coming up to me as giving me a hug.

"Yeah right." I said.

"You look beautiful." He whispered in my ear. I pulled away as gave him a huge smile.

"Alright everyone. The ceremony's about to start." My dad said. Right as the words left his mouth, Candice, Kenzie, Katrina, and Charlie were motioned to start coming out. Music started playing while they skipped down the aisle and the girls threw petals all along it. Charlie ran around until he finally was forced to go up to the front by his mother. I chuckled at it and watched Ashley an Liam walk out. Christine and Brenden followed and Tasha and Chris were right behind them. Finally they all made it down the aisle and the music changed to the traditional wedding music. I stepped out with my father and we slowly walked down the aisle. The whole time my eyes were locked with Masons. I wanted to sprint down the aisle into his arms but I continued at my slow pace. Finally we made it to the first row of chairs and my father kissed my forehead. I smiled at him and walked all the way to Mason. We linked hands and faced each other as soon as I got close enough. The priest went through all the traditional wedding stuff until he got to the part where we say I do.

"I do." Mason said.

"I do." I said after.

"May we have the rings?" The priest asked. Charlie ran up with his little fire truck and he held it out to us. Then he popped open the back of it and the two rings came out into Masons hands. Everybody laughed and Charlie ran back down to Tasha.
