"Jungkook.....I-i don't know" i whisper fiddling with my hands

"I won't let him hurt you. I can promise you that. It's just.... I can't hurt my brother like that" he says reaching out for my hand, but i move my hands and shake my head

"Isn't there a way around this? I don't know if i can trust you after what you've told me" i say truthfully

-Jungkook-

Adjusting my position so that I'm facing Hee Young i run a hand through my hair and nod

"I'm sorry, at the time... i-i wasn't thinking. I didn't know...." i say taking a pause to re-think my words.

"You didn't know what?! That it was wrong to play with someone's feelings just so you could win a bet!" Hee Young says frustrated

"I didnt know I would have fallen this hard for you" i say turning to face Hee Young. Seeing her exhale and her face soften, it was obvious she wasn't expecting what I said.

"You shouldn't have made this game... it's still wrong that the only reason you were first interested in me was because of Junhoe" she says looking at me.

If you quickly looked at Hee Young's eyes, all you would see was pain and frustration. But if you properly take the time, you would notice how worried she was. Not only for herself, but for me aswell.

"I know. I regretted it the morning I found out. I'm sorry, but you'll be in even more trouble if we don't go see him tonight." I say

-Hee Young-

Jungkook didn't even need to tell me what would happen if we didn't show tonight. I already knew, and it definately wasn't what I wanted or needed.

"Okay" i whisper underneath my breath, still not 100% sure.

Jungkook sighs in relief by my selection, he simply nods before starting the car and driving towards there meeting place.

"Wow, didn't expect you guys to actually come" Junhoe speaks with a stupid smirk playing across his face

He was right. I would see him again. This asshole already knew who i was at the café. I can't believe I thought this pig was even attractive....

"Well we're here. Now what do you want?" Jungkook says pulling me closer to him

"Wow there tiger. Slow down, hey wait. Hee Young is it?" Junhoe asks with sarcasm lacing every single word

"You already fucking know her name. Just get to the point Junhoe, no bullshit" Jungkook says with pure anger. He snakes his arm around my waist and i cant help but place my hands over his.

"Wait I've seen you before, remember the café? Huh, small world" Junhoe says ignorantly

"What the hell is he talking about?" Jungkook whispers to me, but he's obviously failed at whispering as Junhoe's lips form a smirk

"Okay okay okay." Junhoe says obnoxiously

-Jungkook-

I roll my eyes at Junhoe. He cannot be serious right now

Junhoe takes a step forward towards Hee Young and i cant help but pull her even closer to me as i notice her flinch at her and Junhoe's proximity

"Huh, you're prettier than i thought." Junhoe says lifting his left hand to cup her left cheek. Hee Young just stands there looking at him, terrified.

-Hee Young-

I flinch underneath his cold touch. Looking over to Jungkook, he's just staring at Junhoe through clenched teeth.

How could he possibly not do anything right now? He's literally just standing there! Can he not tell how scared i am right now?!

"I should have just fucked her while I could've huh Kookie?" Junhoe says moving his glance towards the silent boy next to me

Junhoe daringly places his hands on my shoulders, not breaking contact with Jungkook

I feel the tears start to form as his hands slowly trail up my neck. He leans in closer to me before pressing his lips onto my jawline, making my toes curl in disgust

"Stop!!" I yell trying to shake out of Junhoe's grip on my neck and Jungkook's grip on my waist

Junhoe fiercely places his eyes on me. Flashing me a smirk before slapping me across my face

Felling my cheek redden i stand there in shock as Jungkook just stands there

When all of a sudden Jungkook roughly pulls me out the door

"Haha, i guess people never really change. Huh Jungkook?!" Was the last words I heard Junhoe say before we rushed to the car and sped away.

"I knew it was a bad idea to go, it's just i didnt want you to get hurt even more-"

"I can't believe you." I said interupring him with tears already dripping down my face

"What?! How the hell was anything he did and said my fault?" Jungkook said stupidly

"What the hell happened to "i wont let him hurt you, I promise" Huh? Did you just bail out on me as soon as you two came face to face? Listen i know Junhoe was being and jerk but seriously Jungkook? He slapped me! And what did you do?! Stand there and just stare at him! What the hell kind of protection is that?!" I yell infuriated

"Hee Young..." Jungkook says reaching out for my hand. But I slap it away

"Stop the car." I say immediately wanting out

"Hee Young, we're in the middle of the bridge i cant just-"

"Stop the fricken car!!" I yell, making him obey

As soon as he turns on his hazard lights and the car stops moving i get out, needing some fresh air to cool off

"Hee Young I'm sorry!" Jungkook says reaching out for me, but i just turn the other way

"Jungkook, a promise is a promise. You promised me i wouldn't get hurt and i bloody trusted you! Even after you told me about your stupid bet! And do you know what Junhoe did?! Exactly that! You may not know how this whole dating thing works. But you don't break promises." I mumbled, whispering the word dating

"W-were not dating...." he whispers

I knew we weren't. We were merely just friends who occasionally kissed. But something inside me hopped that Jungkook would have seen me as more than just friends with benefits.

A/N:

So my spring break is about to end and I'm sorry I couldn't update more, I've been in the philippines since my last update and I'm currently driving to the airport to return home.
