Breathe, Mitch, Mitch thought, sitting on his bed. You're okay. Scott will be back in a little bit. You'll be fine. Fine....fine. A knock came on the front door. Mitch practically ran down the stairs, opening the door.

"I'm back!" Scott exclaimed as he walked into the house with fresh clothes on.

"Don't leave me," Mitch whispered, hugging Scott tightly.

"I wasn't. I just went to get some clothes and tell Dylan that I couldn't go to the party with him. He's kind of upset with me..."

"I'm sorry, Scottie."

"It's fine. I don't care. Him, on the other hand..."

"Thank you for coming back."

"No problem. I brought things." Scott held up a duffle bag.

"What kind of things?" Mitch raised an eyebrow.

"Condoms, lube, whips, chains, handcuffs, butt plugs, vibrators, should I go on?"

Mitch narrowed his eyes. "Not in the mood."

"I was just kidding. I'm not into that..sometimes. I brought games and stuff."

"Oh..I thought you were serious for a second."

"No. Come on! I wanna show you everything." Scott skipped up the stairs. Mitch followed Scott into his room.

"What do you want to show me? Because all I want to see is my bed, and you cuddling with me on it."

"But I brought fun stuff." Scott whined.

"Babe, I'm tired," Mitch stated, yawning.

"You're boring." Scott placed the duffel bag in the corner and started scrolling through Twitter.

"No, I'm just tired," Mitch rolled his eyes, sitting down on his bed.

"Blah blah blah. I'm not cuddling you because you're not a cool kid." Scott stuck his tongue out.

"Scott...." Mitch whined. "I'm sorry I'm tired."

"Then go to sleep. I'm not stopping you."

"I wanna cuddle," the smaller boy said in a child-like voice.

"But, like....I don't."

"Scottie..."

"What?"

"Cuddle!"

"No!"

"Fine. I'll stay awake."

"Please don't," Scott shook his head.

"Why?" Mitch questioned.

"Because."

"Not a good answer!"

"I need you to go to sleep so I can do things."

"Are you gonna leave me?" Mitch's eyes brimmed with tears. "I knew you would."

"Babe..."

Mitch frowned. "What?"

"If I told you I'm not leaving then I'm not leaving."

"I know....but you sound really shady..."

"That doesn't mean I'm going to leave."

"I know..."

"Then why are you so convinced that I'm going to leave you?"

"I don't know.."

"Stop," Scott said sternly.
