"Scott, slow down!" Mitch cried. "You have longer legs than me!"

"That's why I'm pulling you, shortie."

"I'm not short, you're just a giant."

"You're short to me so I'm going to keep calling you shortie."

"Why are we leaving so early?"

"We aren't. Everyone else is leaving late. It's already four fifty seven and we have to be there at five. We're late."

"Fuck..."

"Yeah. Buckle your seatbelt."

"Fine, Mom," Mitch rolled his eyes, before doing so.

"Um no. I just don't want to get pulled over. Thank you very much."

"Okay," the smaller boy smiled.

"I have a question for you." Scott pulled out of Kirstie's driveway.

"Of course, my love."

"Do you want to know what Alex texted me that made me blush so hard?"

"If you want to tell me."

"I do."

"Then go ahead."

"Well, apparently Alex and Dylan were hanging out with my mom. Don't ask. And she checked my bank account while she was with them and it was empty. So Alex texted me and was like 'I see you spent all your money on Mitch's birthday surprise. Scotty boy is in love' and I got super blushy."

"Aww," Mitch blushed.

"Now you're blushing."

"Yeah...." Mitch blushed harder. "Who does Alex have a crush on?"

"Mhm so you did read it." Scott giggled. "But has a crush on this boy..."

"Ooh! Who?!"

"I can't tell you, babe. It's a secret."

"Scottie!" Mitch pouted.

"Fine. I'll tell you but only because he goes to our school and you don't know him."

"Okay!"

"His name is J...I don't know if I should tell you. I promised him I would keep it a secret."

"I promise, honey."

"His name is Justin...Bieber." Mitch shot Scott a look. "Okay his name is Justin Barnes. That's not really his name but there's a chance you go to my school and you guys might be great friends."

"Is he nice?"

"Yes."

"He better be nice to Alex. He's the sweetest person in the world."

"You're telling me like we weren't in a relationship for three and a half years."

"Three and a half?" Mitch's eyes widened. "Damn."

"Yep. The middle of eighth grade. Wait no. Seventh grade."

"That's cute! But you're mine now."

"You sounded so demonic when you said that. You're mine now." Scott said in a scary voice.

"I'm the devil," Mitch said in a low raspy voice.

"Okay, Satan. Let's tone it the fuck down."

"Aww that was fun."

"Umm being possessed?"

"I'm not possessed, babe," Mitch shook his head as they pulled into the theatre's parking lot.
