Alex (boy)

Relief flooded through my system when I saw Ervin's face looking confusely at me.

"Pare natatae ka ba?" tanong niya sa akin. I just shrugged and pulled him as we go on our way back to our building.

Akala ko si Alex na yun. That was close. Nung nasa labas na kami ng building namin nakita ko si Alex.

Nakatayo sa may hagdan. Is she waiting for me? Tss, why would she?

I walked faster than I normally would. I wanted to hear her voice. Pero nang malapit na ako, biglang lumabas si Caleb sa building namin at lumapit kay Alex.

What the hell is Caleb doing here? Taga LU to ah. Magtratransfer kaya to?

They seemed close kaya imbes na kausapin ko si Alex dumeretso nalang ako.

She saw me, I know she did. Maybe a small part of me wanted her to smile at me or even acknowledge my presence but she didn't.

What the hell is happening to me? Alex, what are you doing to me?

Kamille owe me big time for this. I couldn't say no to her.

She whined and whined until I said yes. How can I not?

Caleb is hot. Good looking and has a fair skintone making him look like Edward Cullen.
Lol, nakatayo ako dito sa labas ng SLAS. Caleb is here to inquire for his causin and I don't even know who Caleb is. Sasamahan ko lang naman diba? Wala namang mali diba?

I felt Caleb's presence beside me and froze when I saw Alex coming. SLAS siya? His face is void of emotion but I can see the anger in his brown eyes.

Why do I feel guilty about this? Hindi ko naman siya boyfriend or something. He just passed by us and I can see his jaw clench.

I wanted to go after him but that would be inappropriate lalo na at kasama ko si Caleb.

"You know Alex?" Caleb asked me. What now, they know each other?
"Ikaw?" I backfired the question.
"Yes, actually close kami noon. Kaibigan ko magmula pa nung Highschool. But you know what, hindi mo na problema yun because people change right?" he said it to me more than ask so I just nodded in agreement.

"I'll walk you out of school" I said wanting to get rid of him quickly. Every girl's eyes were throwing daggers at me. I swear if looks can kill, I'll be lying bloody here on the lobby's floor.

Who wouldn't fall for him? He's good looking. Light mooded. Masarap kausap. Every girl would want to be his girl.

"Sige tara. Kelangan ko pang puamasok eh" he nodded and we walked side by side to the gate.

I heard he's popular too. God anong pinasok ko? Malapit na kami sa gate nung huminto siya.

"Number mo nga, in case" he said with gleam of happiness in his eyes.

So I gave him my number and bade him good bye.

As soon as I'm walking straight to our building, my phone vibrated.

Alex: close kayo?
Me: kayo ata close eh
I teased

Alex: ano sinabi niya?
Me: wala wala
Alex: anong wala?
Me: people just change, Alex

I hit reply and returned my phone to my pocket not wanting to have any conversation with him right now.

The rest of the day passed by in a blurr and dismissal na namin.

I went out of our school not knowing where to go.
I walked and walked guessing my path. I will figure it out soon.

After 1 hour

Madilim na, nasan na kaya ako? Shit naman, sana kasam ko si.....

I groaned in displeasure as rain started to pour.  god damn it!

I looked around and spotted a waiting shed.

I watch my fingers dial his number

He picked up on the first ring.

"Hello" my breathing stopped. Why does his voice sound so sexy over the phone.

I cleared my throat and spoke.

"Alex" I said sounding breathy. Shit

Why is she calling at this hour?

"Yes?" I answered. Her voice was breathy.

"Um, Alex. Ano kasi" she trailed off.

May narinig akong nagtatawanan na mga lalaki. Umuulan ah. Nasan siya?

"Nasan ka Alex?" I asked now worrying.

"That's the thing, I don't know where the hell I am" she said sounding afraid.

"Describe me where you are.
