"Being lonely is dangerous. Once you experience the feeling of never giving a fuck about others, you start getting addicted in the feeling and ending up in being a numb person."

Alex (boy)

It's been a week since that night when I went to Alex's room. Allen haven't called, I haven't seen him in school and I can't even contact him.

Hindi ko na siya tinatanong tungkol sa sasabihin niya beacuse if he still wants to say it, sana sinabi na niya kinaumagahan.

Alex has been really odd lately, she merely sends messages to me. She doesn't even answer my calls.

Pag inaaya ko siyang lumabas laging busy ang sagot niya. I'm starting to feel panic. What is happening to her?

Hindi na rin siya nag-gogood night nor good morning. Wala na ding Iloveyou and stuffs like that.

Maybe she doesn't want to do anything about you anymore.

Oh hell no, Alex would never leave me hanging like that. She would never do that to me.

Or baka may gusto na siyang iba?

My subconscious is now mocking me. I hate it when thoughts like this enter my head.

Alex would never lie and betray me. She would never let go.

Unless something or rather someone's in the way?

Another side comment, ugh! I really wanted to punch him in the face.

I really don't get it. Bakit ako iniiwasan ni Alex, sa school at pati dito sa amin.

She would always ask me out even when she's busy. But now, everything's changing.

Praning lang siguro ako, o talagang may nangyayari na di ko alam?

I forced myself out of my bed and showered.

--

I'm silently sitting in our room beside the window on the sexomd floor of the building when someone caught my attention.

Alex is walking with Kevin. Friends lang siguro. But then Kevin wrapped his arm around Alex's shoulders.

Siguro friendly akbay lang.

Ang close nila tignan that my heart started aching.

I hope this is not what I think it is.

I excused myself and went to the men's cr. I stared at myself in the mirror trying to comprehend what I saw when someone went out in one of the cubicle.

"Oh pare," Allen looked startled.
"Zup," I acknowledged his presence and offered a fist bomb which he accepted.

"Bat parang nakakita ka ng multo?" He asked chuckling.

"Wala, may nakita lang ako kanina," I offered trying hard to close the topic at hand.

"I know what you saw," he said turning the tap on, washing his hands.
