Today is the day Our Lord died for us on the cross, the ultimate sacrifice anyone could make. "Like a lamb led to slaughter", He went to die for us. Please, consider the pain He felt as He thought of you..the people He loves unconditionally.
He died for all past people, for all people in the future.
The people He was sent to save, ordered His crucifixion, and can you picture the emotions that were running through His head as half human? Betrayal, denial, fear, sadness. These are emotions all of us feel and Jesus had to endure for us to live here today.
"By His wounds we are healed."
I will post a chapter about the real horror of crucifixion... It's terrible.
