The next day at school, Friday it is. My first week at school ending, on slightly good terms. Quickly, I adjust my belt-- it was nearly suffocating me when I was sitting down in class. Someone taps my shoulder, turning around I'm met with her familiar frizzy hair.

"Hello," I speak

"I still have your sweater." Clio smiles, lifting up her arms showing me she's wearing my CK sweatshirt.

"I see that, it's quite big on you." I frown

"It smells really good." Clio breathes

"Thank you," I nod, walking down the hall with her on my side.

"Did you want to do something this weekend?" Clio asks

"Yes, but nothing sexual." I state politely

"We'll see about that, how about we go to the mall?" Clio smiles

"When?" I ask, pushing open the heavy doors where it leads us outside, to a courtyard full of teenagers.

"Today, maybe?" Clio shrugs

"That sounds fine, my father wouldn't mind." I shrug

"Let's go right now, we can walk. The mall is just down the road." Clio shrugs

"Oh, well I would like to change my clothes and get some money at least." I shrug

"I'll come with then." Clio smiles

"You can leave your bag at my home, my father wouldn't mind." I smile

"Alright." She smiles, grabbing my hand to hold it, we walk slowly the summer air coating over my skin.

"Why do you always wear your hair up?" Clio asks

"It's school policy, they told me I cut it, or tie it up." I shrug

"How stupid," Clio scoffs, she stops me standing on her tippy toes and gently pulling the scrunchie form my hair. Her fingers ruffle it up, twisting her finger around a loose curl.

"I like it like this, it's cute." Clio smiles

Blushing, I turn my head away, "Thank you."

"This is your home, right?" Clio asks, pointing to the large suburban home.

"Yes, come on. My father is home." I mumble, walking up the stairs to open the door.

"Harry, is that you?" My father booms

"Yes, father!" I yell back, walking towards the kitchen. I can smell the food he makes, he's quite the cook.

"Hello darling, have a good day at school?" My father asks, ruffling my hair pressing a kiss to my temple.

"It was fine, the boys didn't bully me." I shrug

"That's progress," My father nods

"This is Clio," I gently bring her forward, smiling

"Why, hello Clio. Aren't you beautiful." My father chuckles

"Thank you sir." She smiles

"You can put your bag in my room." I tell her, she nods walking away quickly.

"She wanted to go to the mall with me, do you mind if we walk?" I ask

"Definitely, I'm glad you're making friends. Maybe she can be something more." My father winks
