CHAPTER 7 

The Start? Defeating Fear within souls?

A door in front of us slowly opened revealing the Desert.  

Then I realized...It was the desert that surrounded Death City. 

My lower lip shook"Its cold at night." I said hugging myself.  

"Yeah, and These Battle aren't helping." Said Erebos trying balance in his suit of armor.  

"This Battle dress isn't helping either."Protona pointed out as she shivered. 

"TEAM ONE THE SOUL EATERS AND TEAM ONE BLOOD PACK WILL START. WEARING THE ARMOR IS A DISADVANTAGE, IT WILL SLOW YOU DOWN. READY! SET! GO! Said Lord Deaths voice. 

I looked Koli"Weapon." I said with my hand out. A light flash and he turned into my scythe with spikes. 

I ran out...well more like trudged out through the sand. 

I looked behind me, people were sitting on sidelines.  

I exhaled"Ready?" 

"Yeah." Said Koli from within the blade. 

I heard a groan from behind me, it was tainted soul, AKA a person who killed a human. 

He had red eyes, and worn out clothes, he smiled, and held out a nife. 

I glupped.

[Maka's POV] 

I looked desperately down at Souka who had made her first encounter.  

She seemed scared.  

The man threw a nife at her, missing and hitting the sand beside her. 

"You can do it Souka!" I yelled getting up. 

Soul pulled me down"Calm down Maka, she strong, and isn't a good if we distract her." Said Soul. 

I laid my head on Souls shoulder"I hope your right." 

Soul wrapped his arm at around my waist"It will." 

"I can't deal with my daughter fighting!" Whined Crona behind us. 

"Its alright Corry! She's doing great!" Comforted Patty. 

"Still, there's ugly stuff out there." He said hugging himself"I wanna go back to my corner." 

Patty kissed him, he calmed down instantly.

[Souka's POV] 

"Come on Souly! What are you waiting for?" Asked Koli. 

"Am scared." I yelled as as the man threw another nife from his pocket.  

"How much nifes does he have?" I asked frightened.  

"I bet alot, but if you beat my ex-girlfriend, then you can beat this guy easy." Comforted Koli. 

"Buts it driffent, they didn't kill someone I love." I explained. 

Koli looked up at me from the scythes blade"How about me?" 

I looked down at him"Right." 

I ran towards him screaming, I jumped in the air and slashed the blade throughout his neck. Blood spilled onto sand as I landed back on ground. 

"CONGRATULATIONS SOUKA AND KOLI! KILLED THE FIRST SOUL!" Said Lord Death.  

I smiled"Thanks Koli."

[Maka's POV]

"Yes!" I jumped in happiness.  

"I told you." Said Soul. 

[Two Hours Later....] 

"She killed Twenty souls! Soul!" I cheered once again. 

"They." Soul Correct"They worked together to kill those stupid tainted souls." 

I sat by Soul once again. 

[Koli's POV]

She had little unsymetrical scratches all.over her face. It disgusted me. 

Souka was very tired, and collapsed while finishing off the twentieth soul. 

I carried her to safer place. 

I brushed her white hair out of her face, she looked so weak when she slept, but she was very strong(Especially when she hits me). 

I closed up on her face, intill, I touched her lips. 

Her eyes suddenly opened. I was dead.
