"Wha..?"

The rain poured down lightly, but steadily.

'It wasn't raining 5 minutes ago..!'

Marilo shrugged and decided to just run to her next class. She didn't want to go all the way back to her dormitory to get an umbrella. Besides, it's not like she'd get that wet right?

It turns out she was wrong.

Dripping water as she walked in her class, she was glad she had short hair. At least it dries faster!

The students were chatting before the class started, swapping gossip or doodling, or just reading their textbooks. Marilo didn't really know anyone from this class, and decided to read her book.

The sound of footsteps announced the arrival of the professor. The students turned around in their seats, now facing front, and the chatter died down for a moment.

It was when the professor faced the crowd of students was when all the girls in the class started whispering.

Curious to what was happening, Marilo looked up from her book, and saw why there was a commotion.

There the professor was. With broad shoulders, a strong firm frame, neat hair and small round glasses, the professor resembled a beautifully sculpted masterpiece.

He stood in front of the board.

"Ah, Gute morning everybody. I am Dr. Joseph Heilburger, jour professor for zhis semester. Togezher ve vill be studying zhe human body togezher."

Many of the girls clapped, and the boys looked rather glum and stayed silent.

And Marilo's eyes shined like emeralds, gazing at her professor.

After class, many of the girls swarmed towards Dr. Heilburger, hailing him with all kinds of questions and attention. Marilo couldn't help but feel jealous. She wanted to talk to the professor as well, but her shy nature kept her from advancing.

She meekly packed her things away, getting ready for the next class. She glanced up and was surprised to see Dr. Heilburger looking at her.

Blushing, she packed her things faster and ran out of the classroom.

Marilo gave a sigh as she looked at the overcast sky.

'It's still raining..??'

She shrugged.

'Well, at least I don't have any classes anymore! Might as well bolt fo-'

A sudden tap on her shoulder caught her attention.

Turning around, she was face to face with Dr. Heilburger.

Blushing furiously, she barely managed to stutter a greeting.

"Pr-professor?"

Dr. Heilburger chuckled.

"Hello Fräulein(miss)... Verendara vas it?"

She nodded slowly.

"Vhy are jou standing here? Do jou haff no umbrella?"

Marilo could feel her face burning up. Looking at her feet as she fiddled with her fingers, she nodded.
