The next day Chad was acting different. He was helping the nerds instead of beating them up. He even gave someone lunch money instead of taking it away. This type of behavior went on for a week. Finally, he tried to ask me out again.
"Hey, uh, Piper. Do you maybe want to go out this Saturday? I know a great new place we can go to."
"Who are you and what have you done to Chad?"
"I changed, for you! Please, Piper! If you still hate me after the date is over I will never talk to you again!"
"Ugh, fine! Saturday 7:00 pm. Don't be late. I hate people who are late."
With that I walked away. Omg... What did I just do!? I excepted a date with a jerk, well a jerk who's pretending not to be a jerk. This is so confusing. I guess it is just one date. I mean, what could possibly happen?
