This takes a while to build up for Takumi to actually enter but I went through it as suggested by FE14_Elise and I found many things that I could improve so I done some editing and /hope/ it's better :3 (thank you so much for the suggestion to do this Elise! It's fun to re-read my work and notice the mistakes cx)

Everyone in your village knew of the war that was going on between the two kingdoms of Nohr and Hoshido, your village wasn't far from Hoshido and some people knew that we could be targeted for supplies by bandits and Nohrian soldiers that strayed from the battle field.. You didn't have any parents so you stayed outside on watch with a few other guards, when you heard someone yell in distress you wasted no time and ran towards the scream "Take everything they have boys!" A bandit yelled, a few guards ran forward and one told you to warn the village, you then looked up at the tower that was in the centre, it was to be lit in case of emergencies, climbing up on a wall and getting your bow then getting a few arrows out, you held it by a lit torch to heat up the arrow head, placing the arrow on the bow and pulling the string back you aimed at lamp that hung slightly above it, you smiled at it and let go of the string, watching the arrow fling towards the lamp and slicing the small rope that held it up, the oil from the lamp leaked onto the pile of wood and as the lantern fell off the pile and left an oil trail the fire licked up the oil, placing another arrow on the string you started to aim at a few bandits that were entering your village, jumping of the wall after you released the arrow so you could get closer, a few villagers started to run to the church where guards were waiting outside to protect them, someone bandits ransacked a few houses and started to burn them down, letting out crazed laughs as they did so, a few other bandits started cutting people down like pigs in a slaughterhouse, placing your bow over shoulder then unsheathing your sword, you leaped in the way of a woman and her child who were about to join the body count, blocking the attack then cutting the bandit down, you turned around to them as they thanked you before running to the church, but it wasn't long till you were surrounded, you did cut down a good number of bandits, holding your sword out in front of you, you took in a deep breath "come on girly, your sword can't protect you forever and you're out numbered" the leader said as he swung his sword at you, you blocked it but as soon as you did a bandit ran towards you "bandits usually win by playing dirty" the leader smiled but frowned when the bandit suddenly fell to the ground, he had a few arrows in his back, looking at the direction where he fell you saw a Lobster, a young woman with a staff and someone with a pineapple hairstyle with their bow raised, you should thank him for saving you when you can, "oh look! It's the Hoshido royalty! Want me to bow down a lick your boots?!" The bandit leader yelled and you moved back, he then turned his attention back to you and swung his sword, you dodged it by crouching, then you moved away from him and another bandit attacked you but most of them went to attack the Hoshido royals, a bandit slashed your shoulder as you cut him down, lightly placing a hand on your shoulder, you looked over at the healer who ran over to you "never leave your back turned!" The bandit leader yelled as he raised his sword to strike down at the healer, you saw the lobster panic along with the pineapple, without thinking you subconsciously moved in front of her and shielded her, you and the bandit leader slashed each other, you weren't as badly injured as he was but your legs collapsed due to the pain, the healer quickly healed you "w-why did you shield me?" She asked as she crouched down in front of you, clutching her staff tightly towards her chest, you smiled "it was the right thing to do" the lobster and pineapple ran over "Sakura, are you hurt?" The lobster asked, you noted that the healers name was Sakura "I'm fine Ryoma, she shielded me" Sakura smiled and motioned to you, Ryoma bowed his head lightly to you in a thankful manner as the pineapple stared at you "thank you for shielding my sister" "It was the right thing to do" you bowed to them "thank you for aiding the village" you said with confidence as the guards let the villagers out of the church "We should return to the army" the pineapple spoke as he faced his siblings, Ryoma nodded, then he looked at you "if you want to join the army just come to Hoshido" you nodded at the information as they walked away

Half an hour later you were in your house, gathering some things you'll need then left your house, heading to the chief's house and knocking, politely handing the village chief your key and thanked him for everything, you lightly bowed to him then left the village, following the path that lead away from the village, pulling a locket out of your pocket and then you played with the locket as you walked along the path towards the way Hoshido was said to be, you stopped when you felt like you were being watch, placing your locket back into your pocket and touching the handle of your sword as you gazed around "who's there?!" You called out then watched as the pineapple from before walked out "so you did decide to join?" "Yes" you relaxed as you stared at him, starting to walk with him as he left, talking along the way, you learned his name was Takumi and that he asked to stay behind to make sure you got to Hoshido without too much trouble, it was as if he already knew you would've accepted the offer but other than that it was a fun walk and if most of the army was filled with fun people you'll enjoy fighting along side them
A few years later
After the war ended with peace between the kingdoms you stayed in Hoshido, you were walking around the kingdom feeling bored as you finished training early today then started to look for a place to eat, you noticed Takumi walking, you got closer to him and then he greeted you, walking towards him you smiled "hey Takumi!" "hey (f/n)" he smiled lightly at you, noticing you were in a good mood "I'm getting something to eat, do you want to join me?" You asked then he looked at you, pushing a corner of his mouth out as if thinking "can I pick the place?" He asked and you nodded, he then lightly took hold of your hand and lead you to a shack, you both ordered food and sat down, he seemed slightly more distant since you've gotten much closer during the years "Are you okay Takumi?" You asked "it's nothing, don't worry about it" he replied with a smile as you puffed out your cheeks "I know you're lying" he sighed "it's complicated.." "What is?" "I can't say" "why not?" "It could ruin our friendship (f/n)" he replied in a serious tone, looking you dead in the eyes, you sighed as you held his hands "you drive me crazy.." you smiled as he blushed "I love you Takumi, more than anything" you smiled more as he held your hands, moving them to his lips and lightly kissed them "I love you too" you both blushed
