TITLE: HIS FUTURE GIRLFRIEND

Prologue

"I've heard Austin and Kaye Anne broke up already. As in official nang walang sila," sabi ko kay Nathan nang nakangisi.

He just shrugged his shoulders and sipped his red wine. "Alam ko. Paulit ulit? Kami na nga diba?"

My mouth gaped open in shock. "Seriously?"

"Oo nga."

"Kayo ni Austin babe ko?" I gawked.

Nanlaki naman ang mga mata niya. I wanted to laugh at his reaction. I was just kidding, you know. "Hindi ah. Syempre kami ni kulet," he replied at kulang nalang ay mag form ng heart shapes ang mga mata niya. Poor Nathan... Hindi naman kagandahan. Ang taba taba kaya ng pisngi nu'n.

"Ang bilis ah..." sabi ko nalang at sinisimsim ang red wine ko.

"Syempre. Hindi ako matitiis ni Kulet. Sa gwapo ko ba namang 'to?"

I tilted my head to the opposite direction. "Pandak naman," bulong ko.

"Ano?"

Binalingan ko siya. "Wala. Sabi ko, I'm happy for you, Nathan babe. Finally, naging kayo rin. Let's cheers to that!"

Realizing our wine glass were already emptied, I poured us a second glass of wine, leaned back against the counter and closed my eyes afterwards, finally relaxing.

"Huwag mo nang papakawalan 'yang si Kaye Anne." I said, glancing back at him.

"Of course, I won't." He chuckled and then grimaced.

"Dapat lang. Baka 'pag pinakawalan mo pa si Kaye Anne ay baka balikan pa ni Austin babe," I giggled then glanced up at his mocking gaze. "... which will never happen."

"What do you mean?"

"When you nod your head yes and you want to say no~" I sung as I let the alcohol take over my system.

"Ano nga? Huwag mo nga akong makanta kantahan dyan. Hindi ko gusto 'yang ngiti mo, Danica."

I got onto my feet, giving him a sweet smirk as I ready myself to leave the bar.

"Nathan, no worries 'cause I'm gonna be his future girlfriend..." I said the words with the intense assurance.

Hell, yeah! Kyle Austin Willard is too hot to leave and too cool to keep. Malas na nga lang ni Kaye Anne at iniwan niya ito. It's okay though. I'm Nurse Danica and I'm gonna heal his broken heart anyway. He's going to be mine, promise yan!
