"today you came across my mind, and i thought, ah... one day we will meet under the same sky."

no one could sleep the night before, especially namjoon, who carried a huge mission for today's graduation day.

sungjoo stifled a yawn as she walked down the stage after prep work was done. she found taehyung standing by the corner memorizing his graduation speech as the representative.

hanseul took an empty seat beside her friend and rubbed her sleepy eyes. "is everything ready?" she asked, to which namjoon nodded and patted her head softly. "there's still around half an hour," he sweetly sat back and offered her his shoulder, "sleep. you have worked hard."

hanseul shook her head, rejecting the offer, since she knew he was also tired after preparing for saeyeon's memorial event the whole night. however namjoon told her that he would be fine, and continued reviewing his mc script.

10:25 am

the lights of the hall dimmed, and the audience focused on the large projector screen. in memory of their deceased schoolmate, who wasn't able to graduate with them, at last they showed a clip, playing saeyeon's favourite song along with her pictures taken with her friends, classmates and teachers.

at one point, namjoon and saeyeon's picture in their uniforms was shown. both of them were smiling brightly, that caused hanseul's stomach to flip. "kim namjoon, your twin is so damn rude," she muttered painfully, still dumbfounded that her cheerful friend had actually planned for her death.

namjoon nudged her elbow softly, a small grin played with his lips. "you thought i won't stop her if i had noticed it earlier?"

hanseul shrugged, her attention all on the screen, which now showed her student photo from their year book. as the song came to an end, it also showed her quote from the year book, a line from westlife's my love.

"when the skies are blue
to see you once again
my love."

after the principal distributed the awards and made his speech, following by their teacher's own words of encouragement, taehyung took a deep breath as his turn finally came.

hanseul and sungjoo stood beside the stage and watched him pulled up a smile, his speech going on smoothly like how he had practiced.

just as they both thought his speech was over, he looked back to the mc and gave him a nod. namjoon met hanseul's eyes and winked. he gestured to taehyung, signaling her to pay attention.

"and also a dear friend of ours, who isn't able to be here with us today, didn't forget his friends and teachers. let's welcome class 3-3, jung hoseok."

hanseul's heart began beating rapidly, and if sungjoo didn't squeeze her hand tightly, both of them might think that they were dreaming.

a black frame showed on the screen, and taehyung played the clip.

he was there, sitting in front of a white background in his school uniform. hanseul smiled with longing tears sliding down her cheeks. she missed him so much.
