After lunch, Matt and Damon all went to their own classes and Caroline went to Physics ahead of Faith while she went to the bathroom. The large white tiled bathrooms were like those found in hotels. They weren't dirty or drawn on like those in public restrooms, not a smidge was found on anything.

As soon as Faith walked into the bathroom she felt it. The dread. The sweet smell of someone's misery filled her nostrils as she took a deep breath. She strained her ears and heard someone sniffling. A grin made it's way up to her face but she quickly hid it before anyone could find it.

She took slow steps, walking towards each of the stalls. The sniffling slowly became louder as she reached the last stall. She hid her smile as she knocked on the door of the stall, whispering a small hello. The sniffling quickly stopped.

"Go away!" The person shouted.

"Are you okay?" Her soft, kind voice passed through the door.

She maneuvered her hand, unlocking the door discreetly. She swung the door open, revealing a girl with her knees to her chest, her brown eyes crying as she looked at Faith. The girl was as skinny as a pile of bones. You could see her ribs through her skin and her elbows and hands looked like all she was was a skeleton. Her brown hair was thin as it covered her face like a curtain.

"How did you do that!?" She shouted.

"It was open..." She looked at the lock.

"What do you want?" The girl mumbled.

"To know why you're crying." She answered tilting her head making her look more innocent. Faith knew why the girl was crying. When someone's dread is strong enough, demons are able to use that dread to search through the person's memories to torment the person. Dread and pain were a demon's favorite thing to create. Faith's was death, articulate and creative murder."

"B-Because, my b-boyfriend c-cheated o-on me." She stuttered as she began crying once again.

"Why?"

"B-because he found out I was anorexic and said I was too skinny for him!" She bawled into her hands.

"Well he's stupid. You're beautiful. I'm so jealous of your skinniness." She looked up with a small smile.

"Really? No one's said that to me before."

"What? Are you kidding? I wish I was that skinny. I read online that Gatorade has so many nutritional values but, is like, no carbs or anything, and if you only drink Gatorade you can lose like 20 pounds in a month. I started the diet and I've only been drinking Gatorade for the last two weeks, already lost 10 pounds."

"Really?" The girl was now leaning forward on the toilet, completely forgetting about why she was in the stall.

"Totally! I can't wait until I'm as skinny as you." Faith stood above the girl, drilling these ideas into her head. The girl was so thin, a strong gust of wind would blow her away, but if she kept starving herself...

"Omg thanks so much for the tip!" She beamed up at Faith.

"No worries, and your ex is a total pig for breaking up with you. I don't appreciate what you do to be gorgeous. You can do better."

"Yeah, Jake isn't worth my tears. Thanks for cheering me up, I'm Natalie by the way." She stuck out her skinny hand.

"Faith." She shook the girl's boney hand and withheld a grimace. "Come on, class already started and we're going to be late." Faith already started walking out the bathroom with Natalie following.
