The party's over.
One by one, guests are saying their goodbyes. Kaway dito, kaway doon. Beso dito, beso doon. He sighed. A smile began forming on his lips. Sa wakas natapos din. Sa wakas, sila na ni Karylle.
"A penny for your thoughts?"
Lumingon si Vice mula sa balustre ng make-shift balcony ng may nagsalita sa likuran n'ya.
"I was just thinking about tonight." sagot ni Vice habang hinihintay ang paglapit ni Karylle. She gave him a backhug and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Andito pa rin ang kaba, Karylle." sabi ni Vice. "Hindi ko talaga alam ang gagawin ko sakaling umayaw ka."
She let go of the hug and turned him to face her. "You can stop worrying now. Girlfriend mo na 'ko." She touched his face. "At mahal na mahal ko si POGI." She tiptoed and gave him a light kiss on the lips.
"Pogi?" He smiled. "Na miss ko yun ah? Salamat, Kurba ha?" He inched closer. "Mahal..." he kissed her on the forehead, "na mahal..." onthe tip of her nose, "na mahal kita." He ended it with a passionate kiss on her lips.
They left the venue with smiles on their faces and love in their hearts. Nagpasya si Vice na ihatid na si Karylle sa condo nito dahil lumalalim na ang gabi at may trabaho pa sila kinabukasan. Yes, he'll be back on Showtime.
"Love, can you stop the car please?" sabi ni Karylle habang nakatingin sa labas ng bintana.
"O, bakit?" takang tanong ni Vice. "Naiihi ka? Di ba mapipigilan yan hanggang sa condo mo?"
"Vice naman eh?"
"Ano ba kasi yun?" natatawang tanong ni Vice pero hininto rin ang kotse. Mabilis namang bumaba si Karylle na ikinagulat ni Vice kaya sinundan n'ya ito. Naabutan n'yang nakatayo sa ilalim ng isang arko si Karylle.
"Nabalitaan ko isasara na talaga 'tong place." sabi ni Karylle ng maramdaman ang presence ni Vice sa likod n'ya. Ramdam n'ya ng hawakan nito ang kamay n'ya and gave it a soft squeeze. She dragged him towards the park's dimly lit gazebo. She stood in the middle while he watched her.
