Imani POV

*3days later*

I was in my living room with Lana when I got a phone call from an unknown number.

Me- Hello ?

?- yes , hello is this ... Imani ?

Me- yes this is she?

?- well Im Dr. Martins calling from Augusta Hospital here in Atlanta , I have a young man here named , Rayan Lopez , one of your friends found him inside his home unconcious , it appears he tried to commit suicide.

When she said that I just dropped the phone . I couldn't believe ray tried to kill hisself . He has things going for him . This was my fault

I ran upstairs quickly and packed me and Cameron weeks worth of clothes and called my mom and asked is she could watch Lana. I checked Cameron out of school and drove to my moms house and dropped Lana off and then made my way to the airport . On the next flight to Atlanta

*3 hours later*

I arrived at the airport and met up with Jasmine . She drove us to the hospital . When we got there everyone greeted me with hugs.

Roc- Hey Mani

Me- hey *sniffs* any news on Ray

Roc- yeah he's doing fine , he will be able to com-

Doc- Rayan Lopez

We all stood up and walked over to the doctor .

Prod- is he ok

Doc- yes . But he is asking for someone named Imani

Everyone looked back at me. While I looked up at the doctor and moved forward.

Me- that's me

He lead me down a hallway to room 56. He walked off and I stood there for a moment trying to see if I should go in. I took a deep breathe and opened the door and walked in.

There I saw him looking out of space. He looked zoned out .

Me- hey

I said kind of hoarse and dry

He looked at me and I saw a tear sheed out his eye. He reached his hands out for me and I slowly took it and he brought me closer and just cried on my shoulder.

Ray- I'm sorry *whispers*

Me- its ok *crying a little* but why would you do that

Ray- I had no one , if you didn't love me , I couldn't live on. My world crashed when we weren't together anymore. I loved you to much to let you go

When he said all that I started to feel bad.

Me- I didn't know you felt like that towards me

Ray- Imani your beautiful ok . Don't let anyone tell you different

I just sat there and smiled . Blushing if you will , then my phone started ringing

Me- hold on

I walked out in the hallway and answered the call from Devon

Me- hello ?

Dev- hey where are you and Cameron and Lana I went by the house and you guys wasn't there

Me- oh well , I got a call about one of my friends who tried to kill hisself , and I packed me and Cameron things

Dev- why didn't you tell me . Cameron my son too

Me- when did I have to get permission from you to take my son with me . Im the one who fucking raised him

Dev- that doesn't mean anything . he my son just as much as he is yours

Me- oh so you claim him now . Wow you didn't claim him when I was pregnant tho ! So fuck you Devon !

After I just hung up and put a fake smile on my face and walked back into Rays room.

Ray- whats wrong

Damn . He knows me good

Me- nothing just Cameron's dad trying to say I need permission to ask to take Cameron out of state

Ray- no you don't . You raised Cameron by yourself up until he was 2 . So you practically raised him yourself

Me- thank you

Ray always knew what to say in ANY situation. He knew how to make you smile even in your darkest , coldest days. That's how amazing Ray is.

Me- well I better get going

Ray- wait , come here

I walked back towards him .

Ray- closer

When he said that I looked at him like he was crazy and leaned in.

Then he leaned in and kissed me , it was a good moment so I kissed back. we made out for a minute then I pulled away.

Ray- I miss that

I just smiled and gave him another long kiss before the doctor came in,

Doc- hey Im Dr, Lambert ... Ray it seems you can go home tomorrow if your up to it

Ray- oh that would be great thank you

Doc- your welcome

She smiled and walked out the room

Me- yay you get to come home tomorrow

Ray- yeah it's ashamed that I don't have anyone to help me

Me- don't be silly I am here to help . I'll even move in with you to help you out

Ray- really

Me- yeah anything for a friend.

When I said that his face just fell and said hurt

Ray- yeah , friend

Me- well I'll see you tomorrow alright

Ray- ok

I walked out into the waiting room

Roc- how is he ?

Me- he's good , he gets to leave tomorrow

Prince- thank god

Me- yeah and I'm moving in with him til he gets better

All of them got quiet and looked at each other smirking ...

Me- no no , we are just friends

Jas- ok your "friends" * smirks *

I rolled my eyes and just grabbed Cameron and left the hospital

Girls- Mani wait !

I turned around to be met by the girls

Sym- your back in town , dont you think its right to hang out with your girls

I laughed and agreed to go with them , we went shopping , and ate something at a cafe.

Gosh I forgot how much Atlanta means to me , I love it down here. It reminds me of my Dad , he was from the south

Well I guess it's time to start making myself feel at homes at Rays house
