"What?" You asked, eyes wide.
"She's my girlfriend." He repeated and slung his hand over her shoulder.
Your heart broke in that very moment.
Well that sucked. He finally came back but he already has a girlfriend now. At least you should be honest with your feelings. At least.
"You know, senpai, i used to have a crush on you in highschool. Even until now." You muttered, hands in your pant's pocket.
"But i'll bury those feelings now since you already gotten a girlfriend." You continued, smiling at Nijimura.
After a moment of silence, his said girlfriend finally broke it with a "pffft". As you looked up while your eyes still clouded with sadness, she laughed.
"Whats so funny?" You scoffed, crossing your arms.
"He was just joking about that girlfriend thing." She laughed, waving a bit as a gesture of saying sorry.
"Excuse me?" You asked, eyebrows furrowing with disbelief.
"I was just joking about that." He said.
"God dammit, senpai, i hate you."
