I sat there with the phone to my ear long after Kevin hung up the phone, I really said it. I relieved my feelings for him, but.. He didn't say anything back. What if he's coming over to reject me?
I could hear his motorcycle a couple blocks away and I darted up the starts and ran into the bathroom, throwing off my clothes and getting in the shower. I took the hottest shower the water would allow. I just sat in the shower letting the water hit my back long after I was clean. Finally I knew I couldn't avoid him anymore, I turned off the water, and wrapped a towel tight around my hips and took a deep breath. "Come on now Eddward, man up." And with that I opened up the bathroom door, to find Kevin sitting on my bed, tears in his eyes, holding a wrinkled piece of paper in his hand.
"Double D, we need to talk.."
